Gonna install the winch tomorrow after work most likely, then throw the bumpers on monday. Then its on to the suspension.

Got the rear bumper on tonight with Jake's help. My neighbor pitched in too which, as Jake will tell you, is always a treat. Ended up shooting a moose with a pellet gun so he'd leave us alone. All in all a very successful night with a LOT of storytelling.

 

Are you waiting to do the wrap until everything's all mounted up?

 

Yeah, the wrap will be the last thing done. Might not get to it this year. We'll see what time allows.

 

Maybe the moose just wanted to help pick up the bumper? Everyone loves tacos even moose

 

Just got to town. I'll call tomorrow and see if we can't get together so I can see the me bumper. Is Jake going to be in town Tomorrow? I got my winch line from him last year, would like to meet him.

 

Hes heading to the airport in a bit , you'll just miss him. Going to hopefully put the winch in the bumper tonight and get the front assembled.

 

Still have some loose ends to tie up on the rear, but man, can't say enough about the fitment. This thing slid into place in about 10 minutes we had it installed. The rest was just getting everything else on there. Definitely lost the use of my rear window haha.

 

Went to put my shackles on and the powdercoat is too thick
Looks like I'll be touching them up after all.

Putting the tires on the wheels saturday. Hoping im not still sick and can actually work on the truck.
