    Help.

I can't unscrew this end break line on the caliper side. I have a 10mm socket/open end wrench but not a 10mm flare-nut wrench (5 sides). I fear continuing to force the bolt will strip the edges. How are you all getting this off?

Here's the frame side brake line bolt
    [IMG]
This one came loose with a monkey wrench...
I got the bulk of it done but this last part is driving me crazy.
I've never "bled" break lines before so I'm assuming I need brake fluid to refill the reservoir, right?

Let me just say, if anybody would like to come down and help me with the passenger side you're more than welcome :)

I did it for him in about 20 minutes. lol he had to do one spindle put it on the ground and then move the truck to do the other side. So I did both brake lines and then bled them for him... it was a tight squeeze on the side against the wall and the tire still on.

I was able to remove one side using vise grips but I don't recommend doing that. Go to sears and buy a small diameter flare nut wrench set and use the proper tool for the job. You'll be happier when you don't strip anything :)

Ya Mike turned my 2 hrs of madness into 20 min. Very skilled mechanically, but now that I've seen how he did it by removing the metal tabs, vice grips + 12mm open wrench, and turn opposite directions with maximum power I can do it now.
Speaking of, I have your back pack at home Mike but I've been unable to return it with crazy work hours.

Love my Maxtrac spindles. Installed them about 3 weeks ago by myself. Took me 11 total hrs to do front, back and all four shocks. Running 3" blocks in the back (till I can swing the Allpro Expo Leaf Pack) Bilstein 5100 Extended Rears, 5100s in the front set at "0" for now. Plan to bump em up to .85 since I've got a little rubbing with my 295/70/17 (33.5x12) Terra Grapplers. The ride so far is rock solid, even with the rear blocks. 85 mph on the highway with no vibrations at all. But I do plan to do some towing in the future so the blocks are gonna have to go.

Hey guys, haven't really been on this section of here but since Kinda stuck on a decision right now I thought I would see if anyone could help me out, I'm looking into the maxtrac 4" spindles for my truck. I'm currently running a 1" block in the rear, and a 2" spacer up from with 265/75/16 tires... Will the spindles make my truck look lame or what should I do? I don't mind a little lean so thats not a problem to me.. Just worried if my tires will look to small? any input would help! Thanks

265 looked a little small to me when I lifted with Maxtrac. I'm sure plenty of people run them just fine. your MT's will probably fill it out a little bit better than my almost bald AT's did at the time lol. However, 4" lift up front vs a 1" block in the rear will leave you with a bit of a bro stance, IE lifted up front lower in the back.

man this looks great! you have to do something about your grill tho.

open the hood, mask off the paint/headlights/other stuff and use some black radiator paint and paint the stuff behind the grill (radiator, exap core, lines) so u cant see it all thru the grill.

    it will look 100x better!
    :D
