When I had a DC I removed the headrests. I had them on the backseats so if I had someone in the back, I'd put them back in.

If your mirrors were set properly then you wouldn't have to worry about taking the headrests out.

I also think that you're a troll since that you've only had 3 posts since January.

Back in 1985 I was rear ended and was driving a car without a headrest and didn't have my seatbelt on (the good ol days:rolleyes:). Wound up with C6/C7 discectomy surgery. Not a pleasant experience. Put those headrests back in. And those for the rear are to keep you passengers heads from breaking the rear window.

I replaced my tires with 31"x1" steel circles. Less friction, better gas mileage. Not a lot of traction but if you keep it under 5mph it's golden!

If a thread starts out stupid, it tends to get stupider real quick. Sometimes it takes a while to get there!

Thought the same thing. The head restrains are getting larger and larger and now tend to block the right side view. Drove a 2013 double cab and the rear head restrains blocked the back window on the right rear to a point that the rear view mirror was useful only in the center and the right rear became a huge blind spot.

The solution I used in the 96 4runner was to tip the passenger seat back until the head restraint did not block my view. When a passenger got in, they set the seat back up. With the new trucks, the passenger seat can just be folded forward.

Upon deliverer of my access cab, I made my first mod; the addition of blind spot mirrors.

Keep looking, I may be the next motorist in your blind spot.

I rarely have passengers so I removed them, but keep the headrests in the truck. I position the passenger seat so the head rest lines up with the B pillar, or lean it way back. I do the same in my Ford Fiesta. Really opens up the rear view.

    Nicely put

Dumbest thing you would do to a automobile. Mind as well remove the front windshield since the sun will cause glare in your eyes

x2. only one i moved was the one for the middle rear(hump) seat, but it’s behind the back seats so easy to get if someone is to ride in the middle. but thats not vary often for me, don’t usually have more than 3MAYBE 4 people in the truck at any given time.

So you could ride in the bed? I'm sure that you could a headrest and modify to attach it to the bed rails.

Agreed, I've been rear ended 4 times and each time I'm thankful for my head rest.

I put these on and now I hate driving any vehicle without them.

Removed my seatbelts because they kept me from getting ejected in a collision.
