I think you got some bad data. Even adding all three GM disgraces together (Silverado, Sierra, and Avalanche) the F150 is still in 1st place.

36 years and counting...but good luck to GM with that 'redesign'.

Heard it on the radio (news station, and it wasn't a commercial) last week.
Silverado & Sierra combined. Didn't catch the details on the month/quarter or what.

Silverado was announced best truck by vehicles from 1981-Present still on the road.
Still wouldn't drive an "American" pickup if you paid me unless it was a diesel. My lil Taco takes a beating and keeps on running.

    Loved Dad's '74 K5, and a buddy had a '73 1-ton that was a hoot.

But '81 to present? I've owned a couple of '90s era, including a '95 Suburban (same as the Silverado) and it was the worst POS I've ever owned.
It was worse than my '91 Escort.

Or by "still on the road" do they mean the drivers had to walk home?

TACOIDAHO claims same MPG's but he is trying to compair Tacoma 4x4 v6 to Ford 4x2 v6. Even at that Tacoma still better MPG's. Not to knock American trucks. I like the full size GMC's Chevy and somewhat the Fords and Ram.

Silverado & Sierra combined always out sells F150s, but they are 2 different brands. So Ford does sell more F150s than Chevy does Silverados.

Yea in the NE region they put nasty shit on the road that destroys your truck and not the environment... I hate the freaking greenies so much.

100%, just a matter if you have to pay for it or not. take it in, explain the situation, and ask.

I really can't believe it, this is the third recall on mine! Before this truck, I have never had a recall on any of my vehicles in 40 + years of owning. This is all because of our litigious society. My daughter's VW got 2 recalls, and my Bimmer has had one. This is all within the last 5 years!

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. I LOVE Toyotas recalls! Pretty much guaranteed hours for me.

I would rather get the recall that gets safety problems fixed rather than have it get swept under the carpet and ignored ....
