Thank you Shaggs! I had just PM'ed him before reading your message. :)

Luder94, the wheel will fit fine with a stock sized tire (which would be 265/60R18). A larger diameter tire will require modifying the brackets / guides just as Shaggs mentioned. This is not exclusive to the 18" BFD. Even if you were to install a larger diameter tire onto your stock spare you'd have to do some modifications to get it to fit underneath, but it definitely can be done. PM sent to you with pricing for five (5) wheels as well Luder94. Thanks! :)

Dustin is the man! He recommended me the perfect tire setup and even printed out a sheet full of notes for tire brand & size. Also what shocks to get and where to get them. Also you need to get lug nuts which he has for a great price!

Def over and beyond what is expected for customer service.

I'm using BFG A/T 265/65/18. No rubbing! Stock suspension.

    Thanks again Dustin!

Thank you David! It was a pleasure talking with you and helping you with your new setup.

Your truck came out great! I really like that tire size (265/65R18) for guys who want to keep the original factory suspension for the time being. It looks great with stock suspension (slightly taller than stock), and it will still look good if you decide to lift the truck in the future.

Cool background for your photos too! Thanks again!

    Congratulations your truck purchase!

Speedway Blue seems to be a semi-rare color, so we don't have a whole lot of photos of our wheels on that color. I think any of the colors look good on Speedway Blue actually, but I would be partial to graphite gunmetal or matte bronze.

Matte bronze will be more "flashy" since it will have more contrast against Speedway Blue, and it's also a brighter color. If you want to be more subtle, then I think the graphite gunmetal would be perfect. Graphite gunmetal would also be a color that is easier to touch-up if you were to get some nicks and scratches from heavy wheeling.

Overall the BFDs will hold up excellent for your trips. They're extremely well engineered and manufactured and certified to really tight tolerances / high standards. The BFDs were originally manufactured to withstand the weight, payload and towing capacity of the new, '07+ Tundra (the Tundra has a curb weight of almost 1,000lbs more than the Tacoma and significantly higher payload / tow capacity). That makes the BFD more than strong enough for almost anything you can throw at it in a Tacoma. :)

PM sent to you! Thank you!

here are some recent pics of mine with the 18s on 275/65/18 Hankooks on NO lift. I had to trim about 1.25" off the front to clear any rubbing. Love the wheels! I get quite a few compliments as well (ie...nice volks! haha)

Looks awesome Edwin! Thanks for posting updated pics! I love the Texas stickers too. :)

Did you have to trim the fender flare in the area where the rear mud flap mounted with those tires and stock suspension?

Awesome, thanks for that information! That will be really helpful to others who want to put 275/65R18s on the BFDs and install them without a lift. :)

OMG Dustin! These things are pure sweetness! Color matches perfectly to the MGM. Thanks for the speedy shipping and awesome customer service. You rock!!!

Now I just need to find time to install my lift and put these bad boys on. It's gonna kill me having these things just sitting here. Haha

Thank you Steve! You are very welcome, and I'm glad you received the wheels so quickly.

I'm glad you love them too! I have currently have the same wheels on my truck - FN Wheels BFDs in graphite gunmetal. :) I can't wait to see your truck with its new shoes

Hey, would you happen to have a picture of a stock '13 black TRD OFF RD with the matte blacks? I just got my '13 double cab and I'm looking to upgrade wheels, first thing.

    Hi,

Cool! Congratulations on your new truck, and thank you for considering the FN Wheels BFDs.

I don't believe I have a photo of that exact request, but perhaps the closest for comparison would be our customer / TacomaWorld member Shagg's truck:

^Stock 2013 Tacoma Double Cab w/ stock P265/60R18 tires and 18x9" FN Wheels BFDs. His truck is magnetic grey w/ graphite gunmetal BFD wheels, but since it's a stock suspension / stock tire size, dark colored '13 w/ dark colored BFDs I hope this comparison can help.

I also have a lot of photos of other colors of stock 2012 and 2013 Tacomas with various colors of BFDs along with various tire sizes (stock tires and plus sized tires). If you think these would help please just let me know. :)
