carry on my friend. i'm sure gid will chip in but you won't need a distru block for 2 lights. 1 relay would work fine for them both, too.

Hahaha first off ...... Don't hate on me. ;) Second ........ He's talking about his hella lights not his headlights. Lol

Aight so the thing you need to look at is the amp draw. You don't wanna run more then 80% of your total allowable amperage. So for instance if you were to buy 2 hid kits for your 4 lights and each light drew 4 amps then you would have a total amp draw of 16 amps. Keeping your 80% in mind, you are gonna want a 20 amp relay. Reason being for things like initial start up draws more amps then when running at constant power. You can either get a switch that's rated for 20 amps or get a 20 amp relay and run a small switch with it. Or if you split it up into 2 then you would want relays or switches rated for 10 amps. Make sense? So in my example, you could run this switch on all 4 with no relay and be safe .......... http://www.otrattw.com/proddetail.php?prod=VVPZC42-5TT&cat=14

But I always say run a relay cause if something happens then it will blow your relay instead of your switch. You can get a relay at AutoZone or wherever but you may have to order another switch

Ordered that switch last week. Should be here tomorrow. So you're saying. I can just run them all off that switch and no relay and be fine. Or throw a relay in the mix and be extra safe. I actually ordered two switches from them. One for two centers and one for two outers. And where would you recommend getting power from? Should I go straight battery, factory distribution box or t tap into headlights

i personally would run a line from the battery so that i know exactly what is going to them. use a relay to be safe. they are cheap and can be picked up at any auto store. i think wally world even carries them now

Get a relay. Theres no reason to not have the added insurance. And it just runs in line between the switch and lights anyway. I have everything hooked straight to my batteries. I also have way too much shit so I'm adding a blue sea fuse box and putting everything on it. Haha but just go wherever is convenient. Depending on what hid kit you buy, each wiring harness will come with an in line fuse, a relay, and a switch. Just hook your switch up and be done. Ground your lights as close as possible to the lights themselves. Ground your switch as close to the switch as possible. Move on to the next mod. Lol

That's the kit I have in my grill lights and they been goin for 3 years now. They have relays in the harnesses already so you are set. If you wanna run the off of the one switch then you will need to make a joint in the hot and switch leg wire. Hot comes from battery, switch leg leaves from switch.

I got my headlights in, and I need to take the one apart to clean some condensation, but the previous owner said he used "window sealant" to seal them up... Is that shit going to come apart if I bake the headlights?

So you bought those ones you were looking at? And I guess he didn't seal them good? Window sealant is just like the stock headlight sealant. It will come apart no problem. Remember to pull your bulbs and any rubber pieces off

Thanks buddy! I bought some ones made by AsianAnts. They're amazing, but the original sealant didn't hold up on the drivers side. So original owner added window sealant, however there is moisture lines on the inside of the lens, and I wanted to clean them up... I'll get pictures up when they're installed...

Ya, they look absolutely incredible! The moisture lines are on that headlight, and as you can see, they're not very visible. But I just figured I'd go ahead and fix them up before I put them on the truck...

    Those look sweet!

Not to take away from this moment but I've got a question for you guys.
For Skid plates would you suggest 1/4" aluminum of 3/16" steel and why?
