I'm 6'2" and I have no problems in the driver's seat - which is the only seat I use in MY truck! My buddy is 6'7" and about 400 lbs (!!), and he more or less fits in the passenger seat, although I do get to laugh at him while he's trying to get in or out.

Who's racing?! Did i hear a midget is racing a 6' giant carrying taco's while females sit in the passenger seat??

I wish they'da put an oh shit handle above the door like on my old taco and 4runner, only complaint the wife has about it. Ok that and how much i spend on modding it.

i always love the complaints about the rear seats in AC and DC being uncomfortable. Its my truck, im driving, i dont give a shit if anyone else is comfortable. as long as i am in the drivers seat, then im fine. if its to uncomfortable for you, ride with someone else or drive your own ass.

Alright, guess I will submit my vote on the poll even though I am the lone person in the 5'2"-5'5" category. I'm 5'5"...and 1/2. :) But I'm asian. LOL

Here is a novel concept.... Duck as you enter/leave the vehicle? I am 5'11" and have been in and out of more cars and trucks than probably over 75% of the people on this forum, and the only time I have EVER hit my head was in the super small 2 seater cars. Been in the driver's seat and passengers seat, both front and rear of 1st and 2nd gen Tacoma trucks and I duck getting in and out. Never hit my head.

I was more or less referring to hitting a big bump or a speed bump and hitting your head in the 2 outer back seats on the handle.

Ive never actually traveled in my back seats, so i wouldn't know, once in a while i get back there i'm laying low or laying down, or somewhere in the middle area... never towards the sides.. ;) so i've never had a clue, that it was an issue..

Its a smaller truck... If you have an issue with it's size... buy a full size truck.

    Problem solved.

The sales man tried to talk me out of the tacoma because I am am 6'6'' and 300. He was shocked how well I fit in the tacoma. And I have been in the back of my truck and it is fine for getting in. leg room not so much. But IMO if the person gets in the proper way they won't hit their head.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Im a little over 6' 1", use to be 6'2" exactly so maybe im just under 6'2" however you look at it. I wouldnt know, i never rode in the back of my double cab, and now i have an access cab.

I did frequently stuff my 6'4 friend in the back seat of my old access cab, then when i "upgraded" to the DCSB he was happy.

How does one hit their head on a handle that is next to the window and not above said head? One hell of a speedbump?:D
