Me and the g/f went on a camping trip last weekend and did the same thing. I ate good 90% of the time...steak and baked potato, hamburgers on wheat bread, and I even took my Serious Mass haha. What killed me was on the way home...Krystal's for lunch and when we finally got home we went to Mexican and I got 4 tacos and a Texas fishbowl margarita haha.

Hot damn! I tried my 1RM Monday. I got 275 like a month ago but failed Monday. I could do 265 though. Frustrating :( chestnbi's are tomorrow though, so I'm gonna try it again

been running a 102 fever since sunday, been sick since saturday- but I've been feeling like a fatass doing nothing but sleeping and studying all day

went to the gym to do a light leg day
    sweat 4x as much

but I tried stepping on a 10lb plate instead of 5lbs when I was doing my back squats and it felt like the thicker plate helped a lot more with my form....

    So I went up
PR'd my back squat at 4x245 :woot:
weighted myself. After half a week of not eating jack shit I'm down to 152lbs

    Hit legs and abs today.

I mainly worked on my front squat because that is where I am weakest. I also did some hamstring isometrics to correct some muscle strength imbalances in my hams/calves.

    Front squat
    3x12 warm up
    5x5 working weight

    Seated Leg Press
    5x10

    Hamstring iso's
    6x8

    Roman chair Obliques
    6x8

    Decline bench sit up
    5x10

Did 30 mins of streching. DOMs are going to hit me hard tomorrow.

I know this is beating a dead horse; but what supplements do you guys take? Personally I'm not a supp guy but I do take whey and creatine after every workout. Sometimes casein.

What kinds of supps do you take? Don't care so much about the brand, want to know what supps are legit and what are bro-fuelers.

    In order of importance:
    1. Food
    2. Water
    3. Protein supp.
    4. Creatine supp.
    5. Sometimes a fish oil supplement if I get achy joints, which isn't often
    6. pre-workout

The effects of everything else are so insignificant, they're not worth taking, IMO. The supplement world is a business...they're going to tell you that you need BCAA's, aminos, ZMA, glutamine, CLA, beta-alanine, HMB, fat burners, tribulus, CGT, L-Carnitine, nitrous oxide, a multi vitamin, thermogenic crap, etc.

Not saying they don't work, I just don't think the results are significant enough to justify wasting money on them. Protein and creatine give you noticeable, great results. That other stuff, from my experience, I get nothing. I eat clean, drink 2 shakes a day b/c I'm on the go a lot, and do 5g of creatine per day in the winter to bulk. I don't take creatine in the summer b/c it makes you hold water, which isn't good for the beach abs haha

EDIT: I forgot to add a pre workout on there. I only use a pre-workout once a month or so, but, when I do, that shit works. I prefer MusclePharm Assault.

Also, people say, "Well, Jay Cutler takes a multivitamin and he's a beast." Well, Jay Cutler also takes test, tren, dbol, and a bunch of other illegal shit haha. My biology teacher explained to us in detail how multi-vitamins are a complete crock of shit, unless you're malnourished. If you're eating right, which you should be if you're trying to gain muscle, you're going to get all the vitamins and minerals you need without having to swallow 3 horse pills a day. Look at the label on that shit...why would you need 1000% of the daily value of vitamin A lol? That's why everyone's piss turns different colors when they take a multi...

Why take tribulus? If you want to boost testosterone levels, just take test haha. From everything I've read, tribulus doesn't work, but IGF-1...ahahaha nothing like some deer antler velvet to get you pumped haha

Supplements are just that, supplements... they shouldnt replace anything in a normal well balanced diet... carbs proteins and fats.... i try to eat extremely healthy all the time and add very little to no cheating. The reason I take all of my stuff is A: It works and B: I want to give my body every possible chance to grow.... When its time for contest prep Ill be taking a CLA - Just to help
