    :cheers: And congrats on the new contract. That's one of the reasons I went civil service and not for a contractor outfit; have lots of friends who wanted me to join them, but THOUGHT this would be more secure and wanted to stay in AK...now I just worry about furloughs. :eek: No guarantees in this world. :rolleyes:

    That always seems to be the issue ... trying to figure how to justify/afford a Side by Side 6x6 ... put it off til Spring, but I really want one ... I'm getting too old for the beating from my quad on hunting trips. ;)

    Yellowstone National Park waiting for green light, will reopen within hours

    Yellowstone National Park spokesman, Al Nash says if funding is restored, the park is ready to reopen as quickly as is safely possible.
    Nash says preparations are already underway for reopening but that those plans cannot be put into action until official word comes through Park Service channels in Washington.
    Still, Nash says once the word goes out, the park will reopen in within hours, not days.
