I wake up at 5 every day.
I fail to see the problem with it. I'll occasionally sleep in until 6-7 on the weekends, but the Feathered Alarm Clocks start crowing around 4:30 or so.
I don't mind, though, because I was waking up at 5:30 before we got them, so I could get ready for work (for which I arrive at 7). So the extra half hour doesn't bother me.

Yes and no. I checked my VIN on Toyota.com, and they said I'm eligible. But I haven't gotten an actual paper notice in the mail yet.

 

I'd be afraid to bring my truck to the dealer, in case they decide to rip it apart to fix the recalls. I hear they do that if they don't see it resolved in the system.

 

I hear ya, I put an application in for a local one but they're wait listed until at least April. I was just curious to see if you thought the rear was bouncy or the shocks did a nice job keeping everything in check. The description make them sound like the OME shocks, similar construction anyways.

 

They do. I brought my truck in for an alignment and they did the spiral cable while they had it. They told me about it when they gave it back.

Yeah, the cable in the steering column that causes the air bag to malfunction. You should have received a recall on that, probably a couple years ago now.

 

Possible. I might have missed it in the jumble of floormat recall notices. Unless it malfunctions without throwing a code, I haven't noticed anything.

It won't throw a code, the air bag lights comes on on the dash. If that happens, it's telling you that if you crash, your air bag likely will NOT deploy.

 

Looks like I should avoid any accidents since my seat belt and airbag may both fail lol.

 

Pretty much. I didn't care about that one, but the pedal shave pissed me off. I even signed the waiver so they wouldn't cut it and they did it anyways. That one was just stupid, there's no freaking way you could get the pedal to catch on the floor mat, I tried, it's not possible. At least they didn't do too bad of a hack job.

 

On of my old cars had a bad ground shared between the horn and airbag. The only way I knew my airbag didn't work was when the horn didn't work either.

 

How do you think they pronounce that name?

Gay-O wouldn't exactly be a great choice here in the US...

No, it's more like ghey.

 

For a war, sure, but for off road fun, no way. That thing weighs a metric fuck ton, sinks like a stone and would be beyond useless in deep snow or really deep mud. The Ghe-O would be much better for a toy in my opinion.

 

The blog is about the Zombie Apocalypse. That said, MRAP trumps Ghey-O.
