    So a friend of mine gave me one of his old Hi lifts. Its in great working condition but is in need of a paint job. What would you guys recommend? Plasti dip the handle and Rustoleum spray the rest?

    When I was still mid travel the steering was the limiting factor, and even if you "fixed" that the uniball was very close to bind. Camburg uni's have a little more travel, but the geometry starts going wonky past that point anyway. Quality travel is far more important than quantity.

    I have 18's in the back. It's a lot of shock for sure, but will be fine with SAS.

    Oh yeah I know them things are huge. It is gonna be a monster of a CO up front as he from what he has told me is doing leafs in the rear. And yeah yeah we all know your rig is sexy awesome lol ;)

    D60 front with 42s and 18" CO.

    What does everyone think of this? Just needs to be better than damn spacers and shit, I need to remove my air bags on the rear too. Open to opinions! I drove Brady's truck and really like how much smoother it was compared to my blown out stock ones.... and I could do 5100's in the rear, but I was thinking 5160's would be better for long run. I also planning on bump stops if I do the U bolt flip

    Oh i see it now.

    Looks good to me. But what about a rear lift? you don't have one...

    and i think you'll need to mount new shock mounts if you do U bolt flip kit. Not 100% on 2nd gens. I know on 1st gen you have to.
