    TRD super charger, URD fuel mods and 2.1 super grip pully, Headers, 2.5" glass pack, Dana 60 front 4 linked, 14bolt rears on chev 63's, 5.38 gears, ARB locker in the front, PSC full hydraulic steering, 18" SAW 2.5" triple rate coils overs, FOA 2.5 air bumps, B&M launch controls, B&M trans cooler, 4 alpine 6X8 type R's amped, Red led rock lights, CBI front and rear bumpers (my design) CBI sliders, 4 riggid dualys front 2 in the rear, custom track bar, ARB snorkle, warn VR8000 winch, Viair 480c twin compressers..
    yeah it is but with 40"-44" tires and a dana 60 and mostly droop suspention to keep it from being a mile high they will do just fine.
    The next battle at that point will be drive line travel, will probably have to run a square one.

    I 100% agree with this statement

    Gotcha.

    yea looks good. Look into the U bolt flip part though. I mean you can weld so if you have to put on new mounts NBD.

    Edit: Also keep in mind that yours won't ride as smooth. you don't have steel plate bumpers and skids.

    Really? So far everything I have saw in the LT thread says that the factory tie rods can handle up to about 17" of travel.

    I know quality is better. That's why I am even bothering getting some Icons or ORI's instead of sticking with my 5100's on my MT setup. My point was why bother going all out on factory length A-arms when you could get a lot more bang for your buck by just going to LT, unless you have a really good reason to not have the width I guess or more money than you know what to do with.

    I'll have to play with my travel some more and see what's up. Maybe it is my UCA's that are holding it up. Although at most I could only gain another inch or two of down travel.

    Those aren't quad bypasses, just triples with a piggy back resovoir. Unless there is a bypass hiding behind the shock in the pic.

    Looks pretty good. It is basically what I am running now.

    For the u-bolt flip I don't think you have to change anything with the shocks. I haven't heard of anything anyway.

    Yes, with the extension in place they can. The longer the arc the lower the angle. If you had six foot wide arms on it with 6 foot steering extensions you could get mondo travel out of the stock ones...see what I mean?

    True but actually will be trading out for a taco more than likely. Much easier to attain what I am wanting In the rear wen I can say goodbye to the back half. Gotta get done with welding school and get working on the pipelines first

    Ya I went through the saggy butt 4runner phase myself....it is a tough platform to build. I just did a DB and AAL's and drove the piss out of it. I kind of miss it actually.

    Oh yeah those first gens are pretty freaking bullet proof. I like the 4runner. It is nice like you said tough to build.

    I still haven't tested the little mount that I won at the FJ Rally. It goes on to the hilift and has a half circle on the end to perfectly cup around the slider to keep it from moving around.

    Is this the longest this thread has been dead? Haha and I finally bit the bullet, all the suspension shit is ordered :) finishing up removing my air bags.... Speaking of which, is anyone interested in a set of Firestone Ride Rite Airbags for 2nd Gen?
