    The top plate looks like audio jacks not sure bout the other stuff.

    Bottom plate is speakers and sub lines. Best way to fine where they run is get a piece of speaker wire and hook it up to a terminal. red to red black to black then. Get a 9 volt battery or AA and touch black wire to neg and red to positive and the speaker should "pop" and then you know where it is in the room or house. But be careful if you have volume controls cause it can and will shock you. If their are speakers already hooked up.

    The room the plate is in should have five speakers in it if not should have 5 blank plates where speakers would go. And if there are few speakers threw out house you will need a 5.1 duel zone receiver. If you have multiple speakers threw out house like kitchen, bedroom, porch.,.then You will need a 5.1 duel zone receiver and a speaker selector
