    Lol that's my Dad's Tacoma.
He sat in my truck after I installed these WO's and said "wow, that's good". Since then he's asked a few more questions about the colors they offer... gonna make him pick out a set he wants and buy them for him as a Christmas present (since I'll be in boot camp during the holidays)... kinda pissed I missed out on the opportunity to save $100 through the VERY recent group buy :pout:

For the sake of not scroll-bombing this place, I wont quote everyone but all of those cover choices look great

right on! you will NOT be disappointed. definitely remove the seats for the install. makes it 10x easier to get everything snug and tight. and remember the airbag plug under the driver seat before removing as well.

edit: just saw you have a 2nd gen. you may have additional wiring in your seats. mine just has one connection on the driver's side to remove.

    5100's all around. Front's set at 1.75" 265/75/16 Duratracs.
Got my fronts installed. Damn those things are tough. I ended up just taking the seats out and I still don't have the passenger side fitting the way I want. Waiting to do the backs until I have a extra set of hands.

Waiting on my WO group buy order. Here is my question. I've read on TW that one needs to remove the front seats to properly install the WO covers and I've also read on TW that one does not need to remove the seats for installation.

Can someone please provide a definitive answer on properly installing these seat covers on a 2013 Tacoma with front bucket seats. If removal of the front seats is required, how does one do this?

    Thanks

In my non expert opinion it did help to take the seats out. I did try to install them before taking them out but I just couldn't get around everything good enough. It might just have been because I am a big guy at 6'3". It takes all of 5 minutes to get the seats out.

While I agree that taking out the seats would most likely speed things up, and give you better access to the underside of the bottom seat cushion, I opted to install mine yesterday with the seats in the truck. It took a couple of hours, but is very doable. Mine fit just as I hoped, and look great. I even did it with mostly one hand since I have nerve damage in my left hand from an accident, leaving it with little feeling. If I could do it, pretty much anyone could. Photos to come...

I installed my front and back covers in my DC in less than two hours. Didn't remove seats. Tight squeeze a few times on the ol hands and arms, but completely doable. Fit was pretty good. A lot of air in the backs of the fronts and the gun tote add on is pointless as low as the seats are to the floor. But I'm happy overall. Ordered them in solid camo, but they came black/camo combo. But I like them, so not going to call to switch. I'll try to post pics tomorrow. Instructions left a lot to be desired, but figured it out (after I finally realized I had to unbolt the seatbelt in the back)

OrlPreds thanks for putting this together, much appreciated! I love these things...

I installed with the seats in place, and didn't find it very difficult. Started with the passenger side because every install is a learning experience, and figured It would be a good idea to start there. I broke the inboard strap because I pulled on it too hard. Don't think it effected the overall fit but will end up sending it back for repair at some point. Agree that the black\charcoal is a good look. I copied one that I saw on another post but went without the piping.

The little bit extra for 2 tone lettering was worth it IMO.

Purchased the heated seat option and they work great. 31 this morning and spent 5 min. with them on the highest setting they heat very quickly. One of my sons works at BB and he is looking into a Viper remote start for me. The only issue is that when the truck is turned off the 3 settings default to off. So it will not come on when using the remote start. But they heat up quickly so consider it a non issue.

I am old school and prefer wheel guns so wasn't sure about fit.

Outside 3.5 inch barrel and inside 6 inch full lug bbl. A snub 2.5 would be close to concealed. A flap over the top would work best for totally concealment and will see about having that done when I send the bottom passenger side strap fixed.

The OEM seat pockets fit 2 Topo map books and a DNR trout steam map book with no problem and room to spare.

The WO map pocket is a tight fit for the Atlas Map Books. Trout season is over and I now carry the SD map of section roads but the thickness is about the same. It works, although it is a tight fit.

One advantage the WO map pocket has over the OEM is that it sits a bit higher from the deck. Still working on the dog platform and the platform sits below the bottom of the map pocket, which is a good thing. If I could figure out how to get the dog WO back there I would :)

    Extemely pleased with this purchase.

So no complaints about the heated seats whatsoever? Did you also get the lumbar support?
aaaand last but not least, when you get time can you take a zoomed out shot of the gun pockets? I can't tell where exactly on the seat covers they are

Love the heated seats, no complaints at all. They are the first ones that I have had though so no baseline to compare to. When I ordered my topper right after I purchased the truck 4 weeks ago the topper dealer had a special on heated seats, an early bird special for $499. So I wasn't expecting much for the price of the WO's, but I am pleasantly surprised. It was 34 this morning on the way in to work and got to try them for the first time on the road. Nice and toasty, not sure how they will do at 20 below but I expect well.

The gun pockets are right between your legs on the front edge of the drivers seat. I was expecting a kangaroo type pouch, my bad I didn't do enough research up front. The little bit I did not much came up. I consider those a bust although this morning moved my registration\insurance card into one and employee badge into the other one. Easier to find than the cave of a glove box. HTH.

Man a lot of people must not be posting their pics! I ordered mine on Oct 3rd, got them delivered on 10/22. Installed the fronts on 10/23 and backs 10/24. Sorry for the bad cell phone pics. I love them!! BUT there are a few things that annoy me...the back seats are so difficult to move up/down without disturbing the seat covers and bunching the neoprene. I feel like it's going to be a big hassle to get to things underneath the seats. Also the "coin holder" thing on the front seats that needs to be bent up to install the cover bothers me because it pokes the back of the seat cover. Maybe I'll try to bend the edges inward or tape them or something so it doesn't leave an imprint on the back of the seats. Anyways, here they are:

Got mine yesterday and just finished installing them. Did the install alone, took everybody's advise and took the front seats out, I'm glad I did because it was very easy and would have been much harder if I would've left them inside the truck. Took me two hours and was worth every minute.

    Looks good...same colors I got.

Were the rear seats easy enough without taking them out?
