Love my Maxtrac spindles. Installed them about 3 weeks ago by myself. Took me 11 total hrs to do front, back and all four shocks. Running 3" blocks in the back (till I can swing the Allpro Expo Leaf Pack) Bilstein 5100 Extended Rears, 5100s in the front set at "0" for now. Plan to bump em up to .85 since I've got a little rubbing with my 295/70/17 (33.5x12) Terra Grapplers. The ride so far is rock solid, even with the rear blocks. 85 mph on the highway with no vibrations at all. But I do plan to do some towing in the future so the blocks are gonna have to go.

Hey guys, haven't really been on this section of here but since Kinda stuck on a decision right now I thought I would see if anyone could help me out, I'm looking into the maxtrac 4" spindles for my truck. I'm currently running a 1" block in the rear, and a 2" spacer up from with 265/75/16 tires... Will the spindles make my truck look lame or what should I do? I don't mind a little lean so thats not a problem to me.. Just worried if my tires will look to small? any input would help! Thanks

265 looked a little small to me when I lifted with Maxtrac. I'm sure plenty of people run them just fine. your MT's will probably fill it out a little bit better than my almost bald AT's did at the time lol. However, 4" lift up front vs a 1" block in the rear will leave you with a bit of a bro stance, IE lifted up front lower in the back.

man this looks great! you have to do something about your grill tho.

open the hood, mask off the paint/headlights/other stuff and use some black radiator paint and paint the stuff behind the grill (radiator, exap core, lines) so u cant see it all thru the grill.

    it will look 100x better!

finish doing my lift last friday, took about 5 hours with a friend at his shop....6 inch maxtac lift with 5100 billies in da front, rear was just blocks and maxtrac shocks. im gona change out the rear once the shocks get sloppy ( i might as well use it since i paid for it) and go with 5100 billies and leafs rims are 17x9 with 285/70/17 toyo AT IIs rides smooth no vibes no rubbing except when reversing i rub on the front bumper plastic that hangs down about 3-4 inches..i didnt remove it yet

When you put the maxtrac spindles in and do a 3 inch add a leaf in the back do you have to upgrade the rear shocks or can you keep the stock ones

Finished this a couple weeks ago. Purchased from HeadStrongOffRoadfor a great price, customer service and fast shipping. Install is pretty straight forward except when the brake lines wouldn't come off. Big thanks again to Chris for the help. Truck rides like a Caddy in the front with no sway bar and all the preload backed off the shock.

Sits even. 24" center hub to fender in the front and back with a TSB add-a-leaf and extended bilstein 5100 shocks that have been in the back for 50K miles now.

Ordered my kit from headstrong yesterday since I decided to keep the truck. Headstrong hooked me up with a great deal on the full 4" kit shipped to florida. Should be here Saturday and I'm installing it Sunday. Running 295/70r17 tires on stock sport wheels. Also ordered a 50" light bar, had my exhaust done yesterday, my air filter will be here Wednesday and a supercharger is going on next month. Can't wait.
