    Forgot about the 03.

I need stuff, good quality, local stuff, but with the state of the economy i'd be surprised if he can do the R&D and stay with a comfortable profit.

But i can't wait for the 1st gen products that have to come out sometime.

So would I , but i don't have the money to put into it (i'd have to upgrade my suspension, on top of the cost of the bumper)

My HC rear bumper is all primered and painted. Yesterday I pulled the stock bumper off the truck, and today I cut the fenders off at 17.63" down from the top of the bed for 1/2" below the taillights. Hope to test fit it tomorrow. No going back now...

Tyler, I am mounting the HC Rear bumper, have everything ready (fenders preliminary cut, stock bumper off, etc.). My truck frame rails (overall) are 3/8" narrower than the bumper frame that slides over it. I can slap together a couple of shim plates to take up the slack, but thought that if I just cranked down on the bolts it would screw up the truck frame and possibly tweak the composite bed bolted to the frame. I think a coiple 3/16" plates would be better than washers to shim it. Any suggestions?

The frame tapers smaller to the rear. The tips of the frame mounts on the bumper should measure appx 38" wide +/-.125 tapering narrower toward the rear. Once the bumper is in place the gap should be smaller and not require any shimming.

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for saving me from making some shim plates!
