I have a bestop tire sleeve so that should keep it safe, but i'm sure some dirt will find it's way into the tiny hole, but shouldn't cause any issues.

I knew I should have wrote down the dimensions we took from last time :p

it doesn't pull it from the PCV per se, but pulls it from a second return line that is left un-filtered and runs it back into the intake manifold after the throttle body.

I have one on my truck and its working, but not near as much oil as forced induction engines will see.

Thanks all for the replies about the honda genny. I'll wait for their big sale, 950 seems more doable.

Thanks also about the replies about the Wagon. Sorry Guys....I'm not going to build any others it took me a year of weekends off and on do to it. lol

But here are the plans that I used and modified to make it into an electric go kart. The original plans was for a gas kart.

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10649554/Radio Flyer Go Kart Plans.pdf

It was not a cheap project by any means which is also why it took me a while to finish, just kept buying little parts here and there.
I have prob about $1000.00 into it cause I bought everything new.

The steering wheel is a real 9" wheel from a hot rod website. The seat is a seat cover made for tractor seat pans.

The motor is from TNCscooters.com along with the speed controller and disc brakes. I got the 3 batteries from ebay 19.99 each shipped free!

misc go kart parts were all sourced from either ebay or gokartgalaxy.

If anyone has any questions after looking at the plans I'd be more than happy to answer them/take some additional pics.

My wife was just asking me if I was going to sell it cause its been sitting around gathering dust for the last few months. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready to let it go even tho it was "built for my daughter" its a blast to ride (goes ~18mph with my 170lb ass on it) but I might be willing to entertain a serious offer. Then I could lift my truck or buy that lathe I also want haha

Ahh, so the parking lot sale was a success? I keep telling myself it was a good idea, but all I did was buy more lights :D

That's pretty awesome! If I had room I might give it a go!

And I definitely think the Honda's are worth the price. They say if you store them for more than a few month to drain the gas and oil, but no one in my family would know how to add oil and prime it if the time came and I wasn't around. So I just leave them full and run em' for a half hour to an hour each month or so and it works like a champ :) I also put one of the owners manuals in the emergency kit with the starting and refueling sections tagged and highlighted..

I think the only thing the 42DD needed was a visual sight level :spy:

I wouldn't think more than 20 psi...since it only acts as an in-line "filter"

I was thinking instead of a window, plumb up a sight tube out of clear tubing and connect at top and bottom.

that's what I was thinking too, drill and tap 2 holes..but i'm not sure what would work good to hold the fluid without leaking

Gotta handle the heat too. I think plexi would start to leach crap into the oil after prolonged exposure. Something along the lines of lexan may work better?

Their FEP and PFA might work. I think as long as its normal operating temperature is above 250 you should be okay?
