I agree. I like the American made knives as well. I want to find a good fit for my hand. Both of those Benchmades are nice but my hand is just in between the two. Either to big or to small.

Ya one of my fingers is already like that, did it years ago and it still hurts when my hands are cold. This cut turned out to be not to bad, i came down from the tip of my thumb and it stopped when it hit my nail. Its hard to know at first how bad it is, because the cut is so clean it didnt hurt, and when i open the flap to see how bad it is it immediately fills with blood. It has already closed up, if i dont move it wont bleed even without a bandaid. I think i am good lol.

So I figured out what the rattle was from. Looks like the clamp from the cat's heat shield rusted apart.

While I was under there, I checked the frame for rust. Overall pretty good, but there are a few spots that seem to be getting a good head start.

And there trailer hitch, which looks like I can easily replace if necessary:

I just yanked line off last weekend also. I had a very annoying rattle and turns out that was it, it rusted away and was rattling against the exhaust pipe. Frame looks about the same as mine also

I have another heat shield rattling loose on the other side. I need to put a washer on one of the bolts that are welded into the body.

We use to remove the sheild or use a stainless hose clamp to stop the rattle. VW back when I was at the dealer all the cat sheils were tack welded on so sometimes the clamp wasnt an option

I cant stand the bone head's. I'm trying to sell a set of wheel spacers. A good deal btw, lowered the price to $160 shipped. I have answered more questions about them that's in the description it isn't funny. Then some guy gives me his email for paypal but says he can't pay till tomorrow because he's going out to dinner. First guy to put up is gonna get them. Am i asking too much ? I don't mean the price. Anyone familiar with shipping to Canada USPS priority mail Flat rate? Is it reasonable or way higher in price ?

I ignore the stupid questions honestly. I don't mind people asking questions but it's frustrating when you took the time to type out a meaningful description and they're too lazy to read a simple paragraph. I have held items for people but usually only to set up a face to face meet. If it's a shipped item, first money gets it!

Shipping to Canada isn't bad. You have to fill out the duty forms, I was told to put 'Automotive Sample' in the description and I've never had an issue. If you want tracking on it, the price skyrockets. The last 2 times I shipped to Canada, I took a picture of the box and receipt from mailing it but very clearly told the guy that if USPS loses it, I'm not responsible. Tracking and insurance to Canada is really high, like an extra $20 on a small box (I shipped a TRD shifter knob and I can't remember what else). Regular shipping to Canada isn't bad though, just an extra form to fill out.

I tried to keep it easy and ship only in the USA, as i stated in the description. Someone is asking though and when i said no they said i should have been more specific:eek:.....Sold pending fund's to a guy in Syracuse, NY. You know where that is Mike :)

Definitely do, I have a lot of family out that way. Not overly fond of Syracuse itself, but central NY in general is nice. Parts of the city are nice but, as with any city, some parts are just a dump.

Billy, I got the trimmers out, it's definitely a fuel problem. I'll clean the carb and see if I can get it cleared up. It'll rev up to a point but then dies if you try to make it go further. I think it'll be a winter project, bench is full of projects now, need to finish them so I can tear this thing apart!
