    No... other way around.
Trucks are restricted TO the rightmost two lanes (so on a 4-lane highway that would be #3 and #4).
Exceptions are at approaches to interchanges where the 3rd lane must be used to make the transition... and there is a "Trucks Okay" sign above that lane ahead of the interchange.

There is no "keep right except to pass" law in California, however, slower traffic is required to keep right.
Yes, if I'm passing you on the right, you are in the wrong lane.
Of course, this is unenforceable and impractical in the metropolitan areas where all 4-6 lanes are bumper to bumper and moving 15mph for 75% of the day.

I really wish the CHP would issue more tickets for obstructing the flow of traffic... especially to hypermilers who think it's a good idea to DWL or pulse and glide in the fast lane.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

    Right behind you. NY
    Vehicle:
    18’ F150 SCREW LB 3.5 EcoBoost
    Bilstein 5100’s (x4), 275/65/20 Cooper XLT AT3’s
Ahh got ya, I misunderstood... I was scratching my head on that one Haha. In NY there is a failure to keep right law and I see it all the time, 55 to stay alive in the left lane on a major highway (65 mph limit). It drives me insane!! :gahhannoyed: It still amazes me everyday the people that grew up here and have driven here forever and still have no idea what the rules of the road are. All the simple things like who has the right of way at intersections or pulling onto a two lane highway, what lane do you merge into?... It's hard to enforce because every other car does it. But the driving in the left lane crap... Don't do it in front of me :spy:

Anyway, I drove my truck to work today :D
