Had a late start this morning, and combine that with the vastness of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, I narrowly made it to Laramie awake and alive.

Day started out pretty rough with my Sony camera dying. What can I say, I got it in 2007 and it's been to pretty much every country outside of Iraq, and it's been thrown around and bashed and dropped, and always kept going, until now. So I took a bunch of cell phone pics that I'll try to figure out how to upload as something other than the attachments.

Driving through Wyoming itself is pretty amazing and diverse and the colors are absolutely mind-boggling. The only thing more mind-boggling is the Fat Boy statue in the middle of the Wapiti Indian Reservation......

I had to turn around and take a picture. I have the other go pro pics that I took and I'll try to get some of the smaller videos uploaded tonight, but tomorrow I am meeting up with a few of the guys here in Laramie for some offroading, so if they aren't done tonight, it'll be a few days.

The 25th is gonna be a stretch... I have about 9xxx miles left and various things I have to do in at least 9 of the states I have on my list...............

I am so glad I caved and bought a new camera when I rolled into Laramie. This TWLive, while handy is slow, and having a slow internet connection doesn't help.

I've kinda wanted to do a trip like this. Just go. Wherever you feel like. All sorts of offroad parks, destinations across the states. I'll have to do it someday.

This is my second one, and I unfortunately didn't document the other one nearly as well. I still have the pics, maybe I'll add them at the end when I'm back home. That, and I have to start planning my Denali trip - that's how I'm going to celebrate visiting all 50 states, with Alaska being the last....

It is nice, the only things I would change is being able to spend more time in a few places and having someone with me to co-pilot.

I can't wait. It was actually a destination on this road trip, but I started too late in the year, and I don't want to risk getting snowed in or something else either crazy or worse happening.

I already have base plans for it, I just haven't put them on paper yet. Gotta focus on this one first. Abe Lincoln once said "Never switch horses in the middle of crossing a river" (of course I'm paraphrasing because whiskey, but you get the idea). I'm worried that if I start thinking about it too much, I might say FukiT and go....
