I caught Tacoma Fever in 2005 after buying a 1995 Reg Cab 4cyl 5 spd. A few years later, in 2007, I bought this guy:

This particular 2008 Tacoma was bought new. A year later I installed a Toytec Ultimate, 285/70/17 BFG KM2's mounted on ATX Predator Teflons. For some stupid reason in 2011, I sold the wheels and tires, mounted 285/70/17 Goodyear MTR's to the stock wheels, and ultimately ended up selling the truck with 45k on it. My next two pickups were Silverado's. Then one day I woke up! I snapped out of this trance these fuel guzzling cheese machines had me in. I lined up another new Tacoma in late August/early Sept.

Here's my truck on Sept 26, the day I picked it up with 30 miles on it:

Next morning after mounting wheels and tires:

Back on the island after the grillcraft install:

After the "Sh*tcan the factory roof rack" mod:

And Here we are nearly a month after it all began:

    The Info:

    Suspension

    -Toytec Ultimate
    -Dif Drop
    -3*Shims
    -OME Dakars
    -5160 Rears

    Wheels/Tires

-285/75/16 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2
    -FJ Trail Team Edition

    Cosmetic/Functionality
    -N-Fab Tube Steps
    -Leer 100RCC Cap with windoors
    -Thule Rack
    -Thule Ski/Fishing Rod Holder
    -4" ABS Pipe Carrier
    -Grillcraft with FJ Badge
    -Weathertech floor liners
    -Weathertech in channels
    -Sirius
    -OEM Roof Rack Removal

    Future Mods

    -On Board Air
-Demello Single hoop w/ warn 8000 (mayyyyyyybe)
    -Factory match tint

There are a lot of cobblestones and bumpy dirt roads on Nantucket, and all I can say is Toytec does a great job. It soaks everything up so well.

    Thanks for looking!

Have some parts on the way for an onboard air set-up. This will really come in handy for beach driving, as well as work (winterizing houses, pressure testing plumbing/heating systems)

A little info for anyone interested. The coilovers in both trucks are the same. I simply installed an AAL in my 2008, and went with the Dakar leaf pack in my 2013. I had some serious rubbing on my 2008 on the inner fender towards the bumper. I'm happy to say I haven't had any rubbing occur on my 2013. I don't know the difference in backspacing or offset between the two wheels, but the tires are both 285's. That said, 285's won't "always" rub.....
