I had it in my old dodge Dakota when I got new tyres, couldn't tell any difference from air lol.. If they fill them for free that's Fine but I'm not paying for it that's for sure... Tyres have had air in them for years, I see no real need for nitrogen...

I do. And it freaking amazing!

    ... just kidding. I can't tell a damn difference.

In fact I wish I just had normal air so the valve caps weren't green.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
My old man does it... I deflate and inflate too often to pay for that.

Everyone does. The atmosphere on earth is 78.08% Nitrogen by volume. Yup, you are paying more for regular air!

If they actually suck all the air that is already in the tire before inflating it with Nitrogen you will still have the evil Oxygen and moisture in there, slightly less but not 100% N2.
For racing I can see it to keep tires from growing as they heat up but not for street.

Mine came filled with nitrogen when I bought it. The only benefit I can see is they seem to be less susceptible to seasonal temperature changes. Downsides are you cannot air down, and the green valve caps.

I think that it really depends on where you live and the climate. I noticed that I wasn't filling up my tires as much in the winter time then in the past with just using air. I wasn't paying $90.00 to get all four tires filled through the dealer(yeah I said $90.00). I'll stick to my 3 year old, $5.00 compressor that I got from Canadian Tire.

Just a way for dealer to make some extra money. My dealer says they do it on all the vehicles they sell. I told them to do what they want on mine but not paying for it. Mine has green caps so I asked the sales guy and he said they did not have time when they flipped the tires. Not sure if they have nitrogen of not but know I did not pay for it.

Same here. When I test drove mine I noticed the green caps. When I did the deal I told him to deflate the tires and put air in them because I wasn't paying for the nitrogen. I waited until we agreed on price before I mentioned it. They took an extra $100 off :D

So for the people thinking they're getting it free when they buy their new truck, it probably isn't. They hide it in the total cost.

I don't do business with a dealership that forces nitrogen on it's customers. One thing to offer it but when I see every frigin auto on the lot with a supplement sticker which list nitrogen, I pass. Usually they are adding more including over priced window etching, molding, etc. which can easily add close to a grand to the price. But... many folks will pay that and still think they got a great deal.

I fill mine with Nitrogen, but only because I already have a tank set up. Bought it for the Jeep. It was way quicker to fill the old 48's with 330 psi than 180. And still quicker to fill 42's.

Use Nitrous Oxide. Makes flat tires silly.

    My TPMS shows giggle.
