I know, I know, but I needed a half ton.
I did it myself, my father has the set up... He used to get his dually done for about $150. I spent about 3 hours or so and used about 3-4 quarts of oil. It's getting harder to find places around that still do it.

Where do you get a setup like this? I'd like to get one for my glock.

I'll play the lane depending on traffic.
Normally, on road trips, I'll keep right, unless I find I'm having to change lanes every 5 minutes to pass a truck or RV, then I'll camp in the fast lane, but I'm constantly scanning my mirrors, and if someone is coming up a ways behind me, I'll speed up a bit to make a final pass and then clear the lane.

Last Thursday, I swapped 2013 TRD offroad suspension into my 05 that has used 5100s and 120k on springs.

On Wednesday, replaced rear passenger brake light.

I just got a ticket for going 83 in a 70 zone on our tollway here. NTTA will NOT install "Slower traffic keep right" signs so every nut that is on there thinks, I paid my toll and I will drive wherever I want to as fast as I want to?. So when a short section of #2 lane opens up so you can get around the dog-dicker you got to punch it to make it around them in time while that #2 lane is open. He popped me as I was going around the dog-dicker. $111 later and 6 hours of on line school all is well. Except there are still no SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT signs up.

    Only $111?

We get hammered for $160 for 1st offense talking/texting or not wearing a seatbelt.
    Speeding can easily exceed $500.

Someone really needs to take CA to court on the grounds of "Unreasonable and excessive bail"
They are using traffic fines for revenue generation to the extreme.
Take it to court and be found not guilty, and you STILL have to pay a $35 processing fee.

They aren't fines and therein lies the rub. They are 'fees'. I would call them straight up taxes. California is pretty good at adding 'fees' to everything. What's that? Your car gets shitty gas mileage? It's classed as a gas-guzzler and there's fee tacked on to your registration.

And all those fees you pay to the state for courts/etc? They go to something else while the court system just gets slower and slower.

LED conversion on every accessible bulb, TRD exhaust (dealership threw in for free along with the Blu-Logic).
Denso iridium. Smother idle, harder pull on acceleration. Missing some growl from the TRD cat back though.

Changed the engine air filter and the cabin air filter. First time that I ever had done it on a truck. I don't care for the emissions tube that runs from/to the engine filter, big pain in the ass being in the way. Doing the cabin filter was pretty simple, took a little longer than I expected. The cabin filter cover and I think have a love/hate relationship now. Oh well, better than getting the dealer and having them charge me up the ass for it.
