Not sure what fight you were watching but Mir never had Lesnar. I cant stand him, but the guy is genuine and is for real... however....

in the 2nd right before mir hit him with the Faberesque flying knee..... before brock took him down and pounded him... Mir hit him with a few good shots and had cock chestnar backing up...

 

personally, if Tank Abbott was about 25 years younger. he could take on everybody.

Love Brock.... Watched him since he was in WWE just starting out. Wanted to see him in the NFL but stuff happens. I think if you are the best then you have the choice to be cocky. We will see Mir vs Lesnar 3. Happend with a bunch of good fights like this one. That's where we can see the real better fighter... And when Brock puts Mir to sleep again then I bet Brock won't be as cocky afterwards.

Now on to Fedor. Dream fight him vs lesnar. But you could put fedor up against lesnar, kimbo and a rabid wolf and fedor will still win. Better get workin Dana

well like i said before i wouldn't have a problem with him if he wasn't so cocky and had some class.. after every fight he wins he is just an arrogant asshole. thats twice now he has gotten in the other persons face after the fight. he did it when he beat heath herring and now with frank mir.

 

Everyone That doesnt like Brock because he gets in peoples faces after the fights......Have you ever seen the old Royce Gracie fights.....he was worse than Brock about getting in peoples faces and their trainers.

Brock is a complete Jack-Ass, but I'm sure Dana White is loving him. He is bringing that bullshit WWE attitude, which probably gets more of the WWE crowd over to watching MMA.

He will probably be around for a while. Seeing as the weight categories in the UFC are b/s. How can there be a 15 to 20 pound difference between some of the lighter weight classes and a 60 pound weight difference from light heavy weight to super heavy weight. That weight class is completely unfair to some of the lighter heavy weights, seeing as Lenar has to cut weight to get to 265lbs. He probably weighs closer to 300lbs on the day of the fight.

IMO they should put another weight class in there somewhere. Might make the fights more exciting and competetive.

 

There aren't enough fighters 235 and above to make another weight class. The idea is that if you are 230 and below, you can cut weight to make 205. Anything above that to 265 is its own class. That is why most heavyweights are 235-265. Lucky for them (except Lesnar) they do not need to cut as much weight, if at any. Therefore they should be stronger and healthier at time of fight. Lesnar is actually weaker than his normal strength.

We will start seeing more and more ex-football and basketball players along with other larger dudes start surfacing in MMA. Since that size is so above average, there are naturally less fighters. Give it 2 more years and we will see a very exciting and competitive heavyweight class. Not to mention Fedor will probably be in UFC and holding the belt after he submits Lesnar by armbar in the 2nd.

 

YEAH!! I can't wait to get some big boy ex-football players in there trying to make a buck!! Kicking each other's asses, let'em try. Brock will be kick'en some ass for awhile!!

Lets hope so. I love to see champions with a lot of class like GSP and SILVA. I would not only like to see Fedor win but beat the piss out of him. I guess time will only tell.

On a side note I wonder what the chances of GSP and SILVA fighting at a set weight are? Would be a good fight.

 

I would say thats at least a year away. GSP has severe groind tear and Silva has a big fight coming up at a Higher weight class. I think there is a good chance that a mega "flex" weight (~180lbs) could def happen, Q2 of next year.

 

Anderson would Destroy GSP..... just like GSP destroyed BJ...... its not a smart fight for GSP...
