Well put it this way if you want a DCLB go with sport or SR5 and if you want an access cab or a DCSB then go with OR

2017 Tacoma TRD OR LB white w/tech package
Off Road- rear locker, A-Trac, downhill assist, chrome accents, 16" rims and all terrain tires, no long bed option, interior is the same, a few oem skid plates, and off road tuned Bilstein shocks.

Sport- LSD, fake hood scoop, color matched bumpers, mirrors, door handles, 17" rims and street tires, long bed option, sport tuned Bilstein shocks.

I was specifically looking for the OR package due to the specific options. I do use it off pavement and also in the northeast the locker and A-Trac has helped in severe winter conditions. Also not a huge fan of the hood scoop or 17" rims. Also these differences are as of the 2010 models and newer. Older models didn't get A-Trac, downhill assist, stability control disable. I am sure this is all accurate but if not I am sure someone will come in. good luck.

Not sure if we're being serious or not but the sport has what Toyota calls waterproof seats also.

I was poking around at the dealership today and looked at a 14' Offroad and Sport. I can confirm the Sport has the 4 leaf pack rear, while the Offroad has the 3 leaf pack. Aside from that, I think everyone else in this thread has pretty much nailed it.

Tis true. Simons mom mentioned that in post #5. I guess so the OR could get better articulation. Even with the tow package, mine only had 3 leafs.

Lemme know when you can get a OR with DCLB.... For me, the longer bed is far more useful (and FAR better looking) than the short bed with locker.

The 2009+ OR trucks do have a hydraulic brake booster that the Sport doesn't have.

Double cab doesn't work for me, I have another 4 door car. Im thinking right now to go with AC Sport. IMO its point less to have a truck with a short bed.

You can get an off road in AC too.
