Mentioned in another thread, but I checked with TC last week on the phone and they said you can run a hydro bump if you're not running bypasses.

Anthony, I got 8" Kings (2 months old) off a Ranger that was valved for a 2nd gen Taco. Just going to put a heavier spring on it and change the tophats. Confirmed with King that it will work just the same.

Guess I'm ordering Super Bumps this week too.

A properly valved secondary/bypass can be used without needing a bump

Did they mean run a hydro without a strike pad? Doesn't sound right.. Or can you add a strike pad as an option?

who's blown up their rear end on 33/35/37's? I'll probably be stepping up to 37's w/ a FF 9" when my 35's die cause I dont trust the stock rear end w/ 4:88's and a lockrite.

I ran lightracing jounce shocks with them. I hillbilly engineered timbrens on the end until I got strike pads welded on. Worked great. Now I have bypass shocks valved pretty tight...I can't bottom it out, and I tried some pretty stoopid stuff.

If I go with bypasses, it won't be for a while. For now, I need to have some better than stock bump protection just to get me by.

I really want to pay off the truck before getting into a cage and stuff...but we'll see.

both kits are pretty much done now. just need to finish both bumpers once the aluminum comes in for the skids. and the 1st gen needs a shorter resi hose.

Yu get some? I like those rims. Don't really like the silver bolts but the other part I like.

    You try turning?
