A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Unfinished attic, thus all of the insulation is in the first floor ceiling joists. When we get done the entirety of the upstairs is getting spray-foamed.

    Not true. See below.

Day three of dormer install. Set the ridge, tar papered the first dormer, called it a day.

So I think im getting new tires relatively shortly.
Sears has Cooper STTs 33x12.5 For $192 Or I go for the KM2's for just a tad bit more. No matter what I buy my install alignment/ect is free. Decisions decisions...

I have bulbs like that. In the stock housing they suck. The HIDs scatter the light too much making it harder to see, while blinding everyone else at the same time. The high beam is pretty much an H3 bulb, and doesn't output that much light. Like the others have mentioned, either retrofit, or get a good set of quality halogen bulbs. I prefer Nokya.

I would go with the km2's if they are for wheeling only and then STT's if you will have them year round. I love my km2's but they are scary in the snow. The duratracs I had, on the other hand, were awesome and actually had a snow rating!

Speaking of insulation you framed your corners in :p no getting insulation in there. Since your doing spray foam you might be able to just drill a hole in a stud. Looks awesome though, good job. There is ganna be some tricky spots when it comes to trim/siding because of how the dormer cuts through the overhang of the roof. You probably didn't have many options because of the low slope, and looks like you were able to get a nice big window in there. Good luck, get those bitches sealed up before rain tomorrow.

This is how i do exterior corners. We call them california corners.

With 2x6 walls you can add another 2x on the flat on the exterior side for nailing purposes for your finished corner and siding, but that is unnecessary if you're doing vinyl.

Ah, I see. I was under the impression that you were already utilizing the attic as living space. Looking good so far, though. I think we've settled on sealed skylights and a ceiling fan for the addition. The upstairs woodstove's out there anyway, so the ceiling fan will help circulate the heat into the rest of the house during the winter, and we can just open the windows and the screen doors during the summer. We get enough of a breeze that we shouldn't need the extra ventilation from the skylights.

Not sure how many of you have Amazon Prime, but they've got a deal going on Pocket Bonfire flashlights right now. $10 shipped, for a claimed 250 lumen flashlight.
Not sure how accurate the 250 lumens # is, but it's sure as hell a bright little light. Mine will spotlight the intersection at the bottom of my hill from my driveway, and it's easily 600 feet.
No word on battery life yet, but I've been playing with this thing for probably an hour's worth of total time so far, and I haven't noticed it getting any dimmer.

Do you have to run 93 octane in the Tundra or just personal preference?

Ha, that's a pretty good way to end that debate  Even though that was just a publicity stunt, no other vehicle can claim to have towed that much weight.
