Well, I had another mediocre chest day. Did 135 10 times to warm up on flat bench, did 225 5 times on bench after that...went for 275 again and failed. I think I may have done too much before and gotten tired...that's my excuse lol

Haha that was the hardest milestone for me to get to. After I got 225, I kept going and going, until I hit that damn 275! I know I can get it, b/c I did it once a month ago, but now I can't! :frusty:

I was kinda just messing around today. I ended up doing legs today, but some friends were on bench, so I dicked around with them for a little while. I haven't done a 5 rep max in a while, but I'd say it's probably around 240, b/c I can do 225 8-10 times. I got 275 all day probably 3 weeks or a month ago, so I know it's doable. I just think doing the 135 and 225 beforehand tired me out. I'm doing chest probably Thurs, so I'm gonna try it fresh

Tried to push through this head cold i have and do legs anyways. Couldnt finish. Made it most of the way but i was just gasping for air the whole time. I was able to deadlift 315 which is a PR for me.

Question, gentlemen. What does everyone squat? I haven't gone heavy in a very long time due to a lower back strain about a year ago and me being a sissy boy and not wanting to strain it any more than it already was. I felt the pump today and loaded up 315 and got it a few times. I'm trying to see where I'm at on it and where I should be.

    EDIT: Found this chart...pretty cool

    http://www.exrx.net/Testing/WeightLifting/SquatStandards.html

according to this, I'm in the intermediate category. I'll take it :bananadance:

I probably could have gone down about 3-4 more inches for it to be a perfect squat. I went about to where my quads were parallel with the ground...maybe an inch or 2 lower.

Had one of the worst work outs I've had in a while. I guess every now and then, you'll have an off day.

    Dumbell press 5x12 50 lbs
    Dumbell Press 3x8 75 lbs

    puked

    Push Ups 5x50
Pec cable fly 6x8 120 lbs
    Squats 5x10 135 lbs
    Squats 3x8 225 lbs

    Puked

    Precher Curls 5x10 75 lbs
    Leg press 3x8 325 lbs
    Leg Press 5x10 500 lbs
    Hamstring Isometrics 5x10 120 lbs

    Puked

    Went Home....

All in all, this work out took me 2.5 hrs to complete, over an hr longer than usual, and the all the weights were about 70% of my max. I had no idea why I kept puking. I followed the same prework regiment and breakfast I have done for the past 9 months.

    Just a random off day.
