I had one of those stoves in a condo I had. Just use the ceramic polish/wax that they sell and it cleans up nicely.

Since I'm not in LA to watch my Cards, I made Bratzles and pretzels - my favorite ballpark foods. First effort turned out great!

Chop a sweet onion and about 8 oz mushrooms. Dump into crock pot. Add about a teaspoon of fresh cracked black pepper and as much minced garlic. A cup of beef stock. Stir.

Put a stand down in there so you're about a quarter inch above the liquid. Lay two pork tenderloins down across. Season with italain herbs and lots of black pepper.

Lid. Set to low for 5 hours.

    ...

Dice up and boil about 3 pounds of taters till done. Drain. Add to bowl with half a stick of butter, a quarter cup sour cream, salt to taste and a splash of milk to loosen it up. Mix as little as possible, we like 'em chunky.

Roast some assorted veggies. Butter. Salt. Plate.

Perfect meal while watching Green Bay beat the snot out of Cleveland.

I got a cast iron skillet for my birthday, so I had to try it out.
I cut a pork loin open and filled it with some goodies (sautèd onions, cheese, mustard, BBQ sauce, spices, herbs), then rolled it up and tied.
Roasted some potatoes, browned the pork a little on the stove top, then put it all in the oven with some carrots.

Sad thing is I have not even tasted the pork yet. I cook/grill several dishes over the weekend so I can just heat up during the week, and this was one of the dishes that went straight to the refridgerator. I also grilled pork chops and 2 types of chicken - bbq mopped and breaded - we had the breaded chicken for dinner last night, the rest is for later in the week.
    Pork loin is tonight :hungry:
