What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Bought a Coast G15 clip-on LED flashlight (http://www.coastportland.com/g15-led-flashlight.htm) and glued it to the console lid with some JB Kwik:





The flashlight is on a swivel and can be detached from the base. Uses one AAA battery.

An awesome local member helped me with a gauge LED swap. And although we had some issues I love how it came out.

Also installed OttoNavi stereo.

Pictures don't do it justice. Ottonavi is a very close match for stock colour when in the truck, and gauges are no where near as bright as they look.

 

I like the Harbor Freight option but, do the "feet" come off so you can thread the bar through the plastic bags instead of try and pin them against the end of the bed?

 

Picked up my Camburg uniball UCA's!

Four wheel parts gave me ball joint ones that won't work with my king coilovers and no new hardware after taking a week and a half longer than they promised and making me call in for status updates after swearing they'd call me.

Agreed I screwed up by signing without opening the box in store till I got home, but come 9am, this pimp hand is goin through that phone receiver to handle bitness.

need some S-hooks or something like that to hang on the bar and hold the bags.

I use the retaining bar and have old rubbermaid tubs in there to hold bags if required

Did you check the box for the uniballs?

 

You are right. In the uniball UCA, the bearing housing's shoulder is on top, and there's a snap ring groove at the bottom:

Yeah I checked the box there's bushings etc but no uniball.. I really hope they don't give me crap for signing the receipt before really checking.
This is what I get for saving a hundred bucks. I got my whole lift at the off road expo & the 4 wheel parts guy said he'd beat the other quotes
And then gave me the wrong part. You figure if I'm getting kings all around and a whole new deaver leaf pack I wouldn't skimp on uniballs... Here's to hoping customer service still exists..

i made a list of stuff i had extra that was for sale, didnt expect much interest. the thread was locked this morning when i went to add pictures. I made a new one for the OME 885x coils.

Installed my new seat covers, could not get the pictures to work so today im posting them.

Picked up a used set of 265/70/17 duratracs today with 15/32" tread left on them for $560.00. Will post pics when I get them mounted.
