    :eek: I had that happen to me too when I was in AK. I learned to talk really loudly when I was heading out to the garage so as to alert the mooses that I was there too.

    There was one house in town that had heated concrete porch/steps at the front door... I drove by one really cold day and there was a moose napping on the porch. :rofl: Smart little bugger!

    Thanks. I wished the sun wasn't right behind the trees, it washed out hte sky too much. Good thing I can go back and get more pics another time.

    Elk are where you find them. I was in a large ski resort hot tub up in Banf and the next thing you know there were a lot of Elk around the tub keeping warm. Kind of neat but scary at the same time.

    2 coats of stain on now and I like the warmth of the color.

    THX for the tip on the stain Adam. General Finishes is really easy to work with and there is no fuss with the brush clean up.

    Will probably start to varnish the wood tomorrow.

    Glad you got the windshield fixed before it spread. I think I got a new chip in mine over the weekend. No defroster or washer fluid for me until I get it sealed!

    :eek: Adam! I'm not perfect either - remember the elk that camped with me? - but this guy saw the elk coming and just stood there! Its the pointy ones you got to worry about.
