Moab Taco

Here are some pics of the Taco posing on the White Rim Tral in Canyonlands National Park in Moab, Utah. 130 Miles of beautiful scenery and noone around for miles. Not a difficult trail and there are some nice climbs on Murhpy's Hogback and Hard Scrabble. A liittle bit of everything can be found. Highly recommended. Most of the day spent in 2WD but 4WD was needed for some climbs and descents, also some tight ledges and turns, aside from that it is gravy. This trip wasn't all about the trail was about the scenery as well, which was unreal.

I was there many years ago with TTORA. I flew out and rode shotgun.

For me - being from the rightcoast.... the scenery over there was just totally awesome!!

I'd go back just for the scenery!!

 

The scenery was rediculous, absolutely awesome.

I am a Colorado native but don't get back west as much as I like and certainly nothing like that in Virginia. You would think after driving that trail for 12 hours you would get tired of teh scenery, not a chance.

I am also from Colorado but I'm stuck out here on the prairie. I am going down to the fourcorners soon I and hope to do some trails like that.

 

We did that same drive 2 years ago. Awesome views. In fact, in 3 weeks our family, wife and 2 kids, are going to Moab and surrounding area for 4 weeks again.

I am jealous I would go back in a heartbeat. I also spent some time in Telluride, Ouray, Durango, Montrose, Aspen and the springs. I had forgotten how awesome Independence pass is. Absolutley beautiful.

Did you enjoy the fresh air or the comfortable a/c. When I wheel I like to have the windows open but sometimes it's just too dang hot.

 

When it was 112 it was AC-arama, other than that I am a windows down kinda guy.
