New to posting, but I've been lurking off and on over the years.

I called three different places for the same truck, 2014 DC LB 4x4 TRD Sport, Tow Package and Entune in Pyrite Mica.

The first two were doing their best scumbag tactics to hide large doc fees and separate the destination fee from the actual price of the vehicles.

Finally, the third guy provided me with this offer via email and I went to his shop.

$33,725 MSRP

$31317 Offered

$1879.02 6% tax

$213.50 new truck tag reg etc

$100 Doc Fee

$33509.52 out the door

I felt like it was a pretty good deal, but still tried to point out a few people on Tacoma world got a slightly better one, he wasn't budging. I would have went ahead and bought the truck tonight, unfortunately, they really lowballed my trade and I will be getting a second and third appraisal this week.

 

I went to Toyota of El Cajon, inquired about a DCSB, TRD package, 4x4, pyrite mica. MSRP of $34,265 and offered a price of $32,800. Govt fees $428.75, and taxes in the amount of $2630.40. All of this for a total of $35,939.15.

I'd like to get out the door at $33,500 and that's what I offered. I didn't even get a phone call back! HA!! Maybe I went too far?

 

FFS.. Can we please get bigger cupholders. SHIT! Oh, and that blue looks awesome.

Truck is going from the rail yard, to the lift shop and then being delivered to mah house.

 

Just got home with my DCSB, TRD Offroad, 4x4, Silver Sky Metallic, w/ Entune, all weather floor mats, etc. etc. etc. List price was $34,150 I payed $32,210 + TTL.

My first new vehicle! Planning on doing a couple of inexpensive mods for starters. Any suggestions?

 

I ordered a 2014 Double-cab, 6-speed, 4x4 in Silver Streak Mica in Dallas, TX three weeks ago. Price is still up in the air, but im looking at $27,500+ TTL. Delivery is expected by the end of Nov or first week of Dec. First brand new vehicle ever

 

2014 DCLB tacoma trd sport package pyrite mica 32123 out the door. I finally got one afyer months well years of obsession lol I named her soggy bottoms haha

4x4 Magnetic Gray DCLB TRD w/ Sport Tow Package, Entune. Sticker Price $34,4xx got it for 33,700 and they paid off my car which in turn ended up being 3k over blue book. overall not a bad deal.

 

Crew cab short bed 4x4 TRD Sports package entune with JBL plus the interior/exterior protection plan and 100k mile bumper to bumper with lifetime drivetrain warranty sticker was $34174 but $31K out the door.

 

2014 DCSB 4x4 Off Road package with Premium Entune with Nav. Sticker $34,400. Paid $31,200. 2.1% for 60 months through Toyota, and Toyota Platinum extended warranty 84mo/100K for an additional $1000. Denver area dealer.

 

Where did you do your shopping?

 

2014 DCLB 4x4, E Tune w/Nav, Tow Pkg, SR5 Extra Value Pkg, All Wx mats, MSRP with SR5 extra value pkg discount (window sticker) was $32,805.00. Paid $31,897.00. This included a dealer added 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty extension through Zurich. *They gave me middle book on my trade. Good deal when considering the trade. Drove 50 miles to Oregon. Two local Idaho dealers would not go above wholesale for my trade so the 50 mile trip added $2200.00. to my trade-in value...
You can always do better w/o a trade. Probably could have bought it for $1000 to $1500 less than the above sales price w/o a trade. They also offered to drop the warranty extension for another $800.00 off; an $1800 value according to the dealer but I kept the extension.
**If you have a trade, that's the key to what is or is not a good deal... If you're being offered wholesale for your trade (provided it is in very good to excellent condition) then it's time to shop around. You're actually looking for the highest trade value since the truck you're buying won't vary much in what they'll sell for... after all it is the most desirable mid-size truck on the market. They WILL just wait for the next guy. Too many out there just looking for what payment they can afford.

 

Traded in an 06 DCLB Prerunner SR5 w/ 170k miles-$9k trade in

Got my Super White DCSB 4x4 TRD Sport for $33k out the door.

 

Just bought a 2014 DCLB SR5 4x4 for $25 over invoice for a total of $30,885

They also gave me $10,000 for my 2007 Nissan Frontier with 104k miles on it.

Was gonna get just the entune with nav, but the stock speakers suck pretty bad. Dealer gave me same price with JBL.
