Any wiring gurus out there know how to keep my DRL's on even when my headlights are on? i've got some halos and LED's hooked up to my DRL. i know i could have tied them into the parking lights or something, but the DRL actually flows into the LED's like this
    [IMG]

so i'd like for them to all stay on all the time. (that and i heard in some states, it's technically illegal to run around with your parking lights on, i.e. tail lights on without headlights...kinda weird)

i feel like there should be a relay i can cut a wire to, but i can't find it. i think the <05's had a regular relay under the hood, but the 05+ don't

    Thanks in advance

    spyder.......... ebay

be warned......... typically they are dimmer than stock unless u use HIDs, and then the pattern isnt usually clean and u may have a bad cutoff.

Before putting them on a truck, I highly suggest lining the seams with GE silicone II (clear). They have a tendency to leak.

OP, sorry I am not 100% sure how to wire them...... since I dont have DTRL.

hopefully someone else can chime in.

I usually suggest ppl tie the halos into the parking lights on the corner, but it sounds like u dont want that.

yeah, i might end up doing that anyway.... or making up my own separate switch (more work, but more like what i want)

siliconing the headlights area good idea. that being said, i've done plenty of offroading (with water and mud) and have had no issues. (i never saw your warnings until after i had already installed them). They are slightly dimmer. but i've got some of the high end, super bright sylvania H1 bulbs and that brings it back to about stock brightness (but they are like $22 a piece...) i really like the look of them though.

also i made sure to buy them from Spyder, not through some other seller. it was a little more $, but i think the quality is a bit better...
