    agreed. im either going with some sort of hybrid with fillers or full plate but not sure as of yet. would like some weigt saving if possible and these hybrids look nice

    Yeah, hybrids are the new thing now. I really like this one with the filler plates added. I've been wanting an Elite for a long time now, but getting it in aluminum isn't cheap. This might be a new option for me... Plus the hybrid would match better with my sliders and the rear bumper I want.

    I don't know about 4Runners, but on Tacomas the airbag sensors don't rely on the bumpers.
    Eh, that one has about as many open spots as a high clearance plate bumper.
    Haha right, still need something there to let me know when to stop. I use it as a guide to let me know when I can't go up things :D
