I'm guessing he was trying to be funny and climb that rock?

lift wouldn't have fixed what he did, and I never saw him hit a trail after that

Wasn't trying to be funny and didn't know about the rock. He just knew his truck wasn't going forward. He took 3 attempts, and instead of getting out to look, he gunned it.

If you dig up page 21 of the Oregon thread, I think the story is living somewhere in there.

Oh, and I think Zach and I have similar tastes in parking style :D

Good thing he didn't try the trail we were on this weekend. He might have hit the rock hiding in the corner and gone off the ledge, down 3500 ft.

Sounds like a ground somewhere... something that is supposed to be a closed circuit is connecting with the truck and sucking down some power. Unplug the last thing you worked on and check all your wires near places you Welded at.

What is your cb plugged into? Like where is it getting power from?

Cb goes straight to the battery... its either on or off.... I could also hear a slight buzzing under my dash...

what was the last thing you worked on under the dash or what custom wiring do you have going through there?

I guess you could start unplugging things until it goes away, i.e. the cb, off road lights, or whatever and see if it stops. Then if it does stop after one of those, plug everything in except for that, and it might narrow it down for you

Its not 100% yet but I should have either saturday or sunday off and I want to take a friend up to someplace with forest service roads where we can shoot. I was thinking high steel bridge near Olympia. If anyone else wants to join and or has a better place to do this chime in!

Well I think a couple things happened at once...first my battery died an extremely quick death as for the short inside, I think its my control wire for my amp, because I was lazy and jumped off it to supply ignition power to my air and volt gauges, I believe it was overloaded.. so, new battery today, fingers crossed haha
