It was a Snapper 38"/14.5 hp witha 5 bushel bagger. Only used it 2 seasons before I upgraded to a bigger unit--its been sitting around taking up space for the past 10+ years

Wtf is SAE towing? Who follows toe limitations? If you put a 6 car trailer on a F350 6.7 and it pulls 6 trucks it's fine. If it doesn't pull it take weight off lol.

It actually looks like a pretty good idea. A standardized testing method for establishing towing limits and ratings. I seriously doubt that the Tacoma could retain its currently claimed towing capacities under this test. Maybe in the next generation...

A bit of simple research show that the 2014 Taco IS rated using the SAE test. Surprisingly (to me, anyhow) they only had to decrease the tow rating of the 4x4 DCSB V6 by 100 pounds.

    Get a cat :)

Between my cat Smash Beast and the non-poison traps (the round plastic ones that lock the mouse in) I keep it under control. The advantage to that kind of trap is you use whatever you want for the bait, plus it's inside the trap so there's no way my cats can get to it and get injured. I got them at WalMart and Home Despot before so they're easy enough to come by.

LP record: it's a circular piece of vinyl you put on a motor driven turntable then place this needle thingy on it and sounds (usually music) comes out your stereo speakers :)

Ive got a Honda self propeller with mulch blade and bagger. It works pretty well for my small yard, about a 1/3 acre.

F THAT!!! You can come to my house during leaf season. My neighborhood is all huge red oaks. More leaves than I know what to do with.

Its a little cruel, but the "bucket of death" is the best mouse trap out there.

The problem with those little non-poison traps is that you have to listen to the mice clink their little tin cups against the bars until they finally starve to death.

Egads; this bloke's talking about the Victrola!

We actually have an Edison at our cottage from the 20's or 30's I believe. Shit still sounds good! Got lots of like 1/8" thick Edison records for it too. Some nice swing music and a little classical. I want to get a hi-fi record player for home though because I have crates of vinyl and nothing to play them on (we threw out the old player when we moved :( )

Anyone have an old record player they don't want anymore?

My grill sold. I was online for the ups shipping calculator and it came up as 25 bucks. I run down to the store and the kid measures it and puts it on the scale. He says 49 bucks. When I question him and say I just checked it on line he tells me it's over the 9" width by 1/8 so he has to go by 10" and that is the 24 dollar difference. FUUUUUCK ME. I will try the one downtown in my building in the am

My parents have a old wind up record player with the big cone. It's pretty cool. Sorry, they're not parting with it though.

Nah I just want a turn table. Age doesn't matter. I know we had one from the 80's or 90's. There's a new Jensen for $60

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
82 posts since I checked in yesterday!?!? You scamps have been busy!

Thanks for the pic. We called them "open" corners at school because they allowed for insulation, thus avoiding "cold corners". We did get insulation in there before we put up the exterior sheathing :D Couple of wise old dogs on this job! No doubt, vinyl is going to be the biggest challenge. We should be flashing Thursday and beginning to shingle. How is the flesh wound?

Here's where we sat right before the rain started:
