Now we're talking! If that 28 doesn't include DDay we are only 1 person away from the magic number! I haven't received any responses to my PMs, but hopefully a couple of the people that are left will order after they see the PM.

 

my order is going in today....someone will prob be doing the order for me since i am away. if they just follow the link in this thread, they should be able to order no problem, correct?

so the official word is my g/f will order the grille today...if it takes 2 weeks to get there, i will be home on the 25th which is 12 days away from today. so this works perfect,

out of curiosity.. do we just pop out the old one and put in this new one? any cutting or anything.. wondering if i go to sell the truck if i can pop in stock again

 

if for some silly reason you sold teh truck, the old grille will detract value, this new one will be much better, butyes, you need to cut the old one...but you can always do a trade with someone who has stock, as ther are always people buying taco's that dont have this "mod"

 

so, order #35- TacomaSummer is actually my absoultely amazing g/f who ordered thos for me for my bday while i am away on travel, I annoyed the hell out of her and spoiled my surprise when i wondered why she asked some of the questions about this. So i would like to publically announce how perfect she is buying me something for my truck...not many chicks support my habit and think that if your g/f is not her, you lose i win. if your g/f is her, then we need to talk. bikini truck wash pictures to come and then you will see how lucky i really am! anyway, you can show her order as mine...thanks again group and you too "tacomasummer"

 

If you look at the install instructions on the grillcraft website you can actually pop the chrome Toyota emblem off the stock grill and leave the stock grill pretty unchanged. Then if you want to change it back later you can just put the emblem back on. Of course it looks better if you go ahead and cut the old center out, but to each his/her own.

Only 1 more! I wonder how many of the original people will end up not buying theirs by the close of business tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be putting everything together in the next couple weeks.

This. It seems like a fairly easy job...a couple minutes with with a recipro saw, an awl, and a drill, and it should be a snap.

I'm more concerned about the lower grill insert, which seems like it might be more of a pain in the ass.

That said, if you're scared about cutting, replacement parts can always be purchased...

 

Where do we stand Luke? Did we get our 30 officially?
