Again personal experience doesn't constitute the Tacoma being a faulty vehicle on a national scale. Just because you have had a bad experience with your Tacoma doesn't mean Joe Shmoe or myself have had the same experience. Sucks you have had a negative process with yours but myself and my dad have had nothing but happiness with all of our Toyota vehicles. Same cannot be said for the Ford Fusion my mom owned. Piece of shit. Again...PERSONAL experience, so doesn't constitute all Ford Fusions are shit either.

No idea why all you guys are in here starting shit with the people who don't have perfect Toyotas like you guys.

How about catastrophic frame failure on the last 10 years worth of Tacoma and the soon to be next 10 years of frames for national scale of faulty trucks.

No idea why you guys keep choking on the Toyota cool aid and let it blind you. Facts are facts.

The other 2 parts weren't really directed at you, but if the shoe fits.

All I'm saying is, what's the point of whining like a bitch about it? Get rid of it if its such a burden. This thread should be renamed, "I'm upset that the world around me is not perfect."

Because you base your experience as the end all be all for how all Tacomas will perform. You boast about Fords but I can't boast about Toyotas? Double-standards are for the ignorant.

So your saying if you bought a 30k truck and it fails you should have to sell it and can't bitch about it in a silly interweb thread because it makes us look like pussys?

    Please.

I'd like to see you say that in every thread where a guy has a rusted out frame in a 05+ he can't drive because its unsafe. Or a guy who had to spend 2k on to fix his engine mounts or 4x4 actuators.

Nothing wrong with letting off some steam except for the problems people bitching about people bitching are causing :)

    Oh and Pittsburgh sucks!

    Kind of.

A problem here or there is one thing and I can sympathize. But if I was driving the lemons you guys are describing? Then yes I would get rid of it.

Pittsburgh > Filthy any day or NJ or whom ever the fuck you want to cheer for/live.

I regret not waiting and finding a DC 4X4 SR5 TRD. When I was looking DC was hard to come by used. I've been happy with my PreRunner though.:)

My only regret is the cab room of my taco (I'm 6'5). I was looking at Fords (f150s and f250s), but with all the problems with the diesels and ecoboosts, I started looking at Tundras. They were going to give me $2000 less on trade than I paid for it! I could've even gotten more if I sold it myself! Amazing trade in value!

When it came down to it, I couldn't justify having a truck payment again. Not to mention, I love my truck. I guess I'll just deal with the cab room for a while.

    Got to love nut huggers.

Does blow my mind with the resale value though. It is damn good. Especially when I was shopping for mine and what seamed like a million used very low mileage Tacos for sale in my area. Only to find out the general conclusion was that people where buying these realizing how much truck they are not getting and trading in on a full size trucks with better mileage and twice the power. Sucks that the trails on my land are just to small for those big bastards.

Nut huggers are gonna hug...but these are still the least selling truck on the road out of the "big 4". Gripe all you want but that will never change. Uh-oh, just gave them something else to cry about.

I regret selling my 2008. I went through two silverado cheese machines. Now I'm back in a 2013 Tacoma...

Had a Jeep ONCE. After 4 years it had lost 66% of its value and still heading down. I bailed and lost a pile of $$.

The good news is that I traded it for a Tacoma. I can probably sell it for what I paid for it 2 years ago

More bullshit. You come off just as much of a Ford "nut hugger" as anyone on here you are complaining about comes off as a Toyota "nut hugger". All you are spouting off is bullshit. Everything you are saying has zero backing beyond what you "assume" to be true. I guess Ford is the perfect auto maker and none of their trucks/vehicles have any issues...yeah right, continue to waltz in wonderland.

I haven't bothered to read all 9 pages of this thread. So I can't tell you how many times someone has called "troll".

If you really do have a Tacoma, and you don't like it, then sell and buy something else.

Oh look, enter the more huggers with tunnel vision. Like someone took a baby's favorite toy and stomped on it. I'm just a realist and I know exactly what I have. Not going to pretend it is the greatest because Toyota once had a rep of longevity and reliability back in the early 80's because they only put out 70hp. They still put out some fine cars though.

But I am mechanic and love building cars and enjoy working on this one just like anything else. It is sitting on one of my lifts as I type waiting for me to lift it this weekend. Going to have a fine hunting truck when I'm done.

I get that there is issues, but not like you're going on and on about. Fucking wall! WTF don't you get! Hey wall, here's my Sawzall you're going down!

That's how I feel about this thread. :D
