You ever make any juice? green juice? I tried Dr Oz's green drink and it was horrible. I want to start eating healthier and drinking those drinks, but I HAVE to find a better recipe

 

Kristi makes these smoothie drinks on our weekends that are pretty good. But I think they're mostly fruit. DIL makes all kinds of juices, mixed with kale and greens (I think it's kale), something green. I can ask her for a few recipes.

They also make Kombucha tea that I like OK, and try to remember to drink a glass a day. Helps with digestion ... like yogurt I think; something about active cultures. I should probably pay closer attention.

Did you see my post Monday? Finally got the plugs changed and throttle body cleaned. Last of my get it done before snow flies list.

 

That'd be great if you could get me a few recipes... Been looking on line, but, would be nice to get some feedback.

Kristi went faucet shopping Monday when she took the grands back to Anchorage. She can't make up her mind .... and she's talking about putting in a water softener too. This is gonna turn into more than a faucet swap. Oh well ... keeps me outta trouble right?

And we know ... if Momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy.

 

I'll ask her for some. I think she's been experimenting with it for a while, so she probably has it down to something that tastes decent. What benefit are you looking for? She's getting pretty smart at that stuff.

 

You've got it. My son replaced his faucet and I liked his, but the comments on his mentioned a whistling noise and his does and it would drive me up the wall. I looked for one that was highly rated. The one I got, was a little more than I wanted to spend, but was rated well and I'm real happy with it.

I was going to put another coat of varnish on then sand with 220 grit sand paper then apply a 3rd coat of varnish. Do you recommend sanding after each coat?


Susan: I still need to do 2 more coats of varnish and work with another Maryland member to fabricate a center support strip out of real steel and not tin, like the one I removed.

I love watching paint, or in this case, varnish dry.

 

Got the official decals in today.



I had a few big ones made but 100 smaller ones for the event.

 

Yes I would sand in between coats. You want a little bit rough surface to help adhesion.

 

Thank you and I will sand them before the next coat.

 

Picked up 8 packs of the tack cloth 2 days ago.

The varnish recommended to use a foam brush to apply. I picked up 3 of them and they worked very well. The brush was cheaply made and was useless after the application of the varnish. But they worked.

 

I like the lil cheap foam rollers,, work great ,,leave no brush marks,, pitch when you are done Forecast for Today
