Does anyone know where to find an OEM airbox for a 99 3.4... I've searched the classifieds with no luck and all the sites I've looked on are all aftermarket, any help would be appreciated

I purchased one for ~$65 on ebay. No it wasn't OEM but it looks and feels exactly the same. However, not more than one hard weekend later that the darn flange that comes out the back broke off AGAIN (which was the reason for replacing it the first time).

    No a 95.5-98 needs a different airbox than 99-04.

Are you referring to where the Maf sensor tube connects to the airbox?

I am positive. The airflow sensors are different and not universal.

Post a pic of yours--and roughly how much you are willing to pay. I might head to the junkyard this weekend. I know they have at least one 4Runner in the '04ish age. A bunch of parts have been stripped, but I can look for you. I'll ask the guys there how much they'd take for it, and if you are in their range, I'll pull it.

I need the resonator and the water trap for my 03 still. I was able to get the box and tube from Kragen O'reily for something around 100 bucks. But I still need those two parts hanging off the air tube to complete the set up.

A 2004 (4th gen) 4Runner is way different than a 1st gen Taco chief. Even the 3rd gen 4Runners (same vintage as first gen Tacos)have different part numbers for the airbox than first gen Tacomas. I would buy isu2014's airbox.

Yea if he still has it in a few weeks I'm all over it but the maintenance I've been doing on the truck has left my wallet hurting.... brakes/rotors, plugs/wires, etc.
