What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

emptied the truck and listed a bunch of stuff laying around on the for sale or whatever here.

also just took off the last mudflap on my truck that was hanging out and had not fallen off.

 

Just got the word! Coverking is sending me a replacement seat cover for my damaged drivers side seat cover, all I had to do was send a picture in email to them!

Great service from them (purchased through ebay vendor) coverking handled the order and the problem great.

Looks to me like the cut it during packaging ot production with a razor etc its a small hole about 1/2 inch and its a clean cut. The packaging it was in was not damaged, and the outer box it was shipped in was not damaged either so who knows.

Otherwise I am loving these seat covers. The material is smooth and cool to the touch as well as being as far as I can tell so far super tough. It does not stretch at all sothey are a little less perfect of a fit than the wet okoles etc.

does someone have the link for how to change a wheel bearing (with the complete assemble from nj636)??? I found it before but forgot to save it and can't find it again... thanks!

Engine oil drain valve.

 

It's an oil drain valve. You stick a hose on it, flip the lever and it drains straight into whatever container you use. I'm planning on getting some skid plates so it makes oil changes a piece of cake.

 

meh, after 30 years of changing oil I let others do it for me now. But that would be nice to have.

 

I like the Hydrotechs. They are a little more firm, which is nice sometimes.

How do you install it? Dealership does my 5k's for me but I would like to make it easy on them since I have skid plates.

Next oil change, remove drain plug, install Fumoto valve, never remove plug again.

If I had a 4.0 instead of the 2.7, between the Fumoto and the 4.0 filter position, I'd be able to change my oil in my slacks.

 

I just saw the F-103S, it has a short nipple and removable hose barb. That's the one I should have gotten.

Also, do not use the supplied seal, I just used a new crush washer. The one included is a paper type and I can see that wearing out and leaking.
