That is a very nice truck, but I wouldn't give mine up for a 2nd gen. I would rather have a diesel.

My mouth started watering when I saw this beauty right here:

My parents started recently so they could get certified to dive in Belize. They were telling me about some cool quarry here in NC with a sunken helicopter in it you could swim through

So youd trade for a 2wd, extended cab powerjoke haha ? at least its a 7.3 which probably hasnt had head work done, plus it has a gauge pod which means he had a chip in it at one point. Also the reason hes selling it for so cheap and its a 6 speed :puke:

Powerjoke huh? The 7.3 is more reliable than any duramax ever made since it was made by international. I don't see the problem with a chip, whats wrong with a manual again?

No I wouldn't trade my truck for that, not no but hell no! Shes worth a few thousand more in resale, and even more in sentimental.

I would love to have either a 7.3 or Cummins lifted 4x4, turbo-back, chipped, just ahhhh :jerkoff:

Nothings wrong with a chip but real trucks take programmers, i.e. cummins and duramaxs, ive driven all three modded to the max. for looks power stroke, for pulling power cummins, for daily driver and all of the above duramax or cummins. For a nasty all around diesel to out pull, drive, and last Powerstoke body with cummins swap and a built allison transmission :D

You are right about the trans, my dad had a mid 90s 7.3 automatic when I was really young. We lived in the mountains and he had the truck to pull his ditch witch and stuff with for work. He new that the motor was a monster and my dad liked to floor it going up the mountain hauling that heavy ass load around 80 mph. I am sure that the torque converter wasn't a fan of that, so thats probably why it started crapping out early.

Just wish he would have fixed that and kept it to hand it down to me.

do you tow alot or just want a cool diesel? they are about the most unpracticle vehicle to own unless its a car.they get horrible gas milage in trucks, cost more to maintain if they do break, and gas is typically 40 cent more a gallon. if you tow something then they cant be beat, if not i wouldnt touch one with a 10ft pole.

They are cool, my brother has an 2010 2500 lifted with 35's and my dad had a 7.3 Ford, they liked them till they had to drive more than 50 miles.it cost my brother over 100 to drive from Wilson to southport and back.
