    Damn, we had just about that in 2010. The first winter I had my Tacoma too. I had a blast driving in it! Only got stuck in my driveway at first LOL. Attempted it untouched, and still had my Rugged Fails. My driveway is also uphill to street. Once I got out though I didn't want to stop! Ha ha. I was the only one on the highway that morning. Good times.

    I would really like to be able to post some pictures in here...
    But, it's been beautiful for about 8 months here in Idaho
    I would have never thought I'd miss terrible weather so much;
    But, dang: I could really go for a good storm or two right now

    Yeah, that sucks. You can't beat a good storm. I'm hoping for a decent amount of snow this winter. My back might not, but I am.

    I love driving in the snow. Just wish I could close off the roads for only me!

    I'm hoping for snowstorms measured in feet this year too! I LOVE it when it snows. It's even better when we lose power, lol.
    Drives the girlfriend nuts, but as long as I keep the woodstove stoked and a pot of water boiling for Hot Cocoa she can deal.

    Below freezing this morning! :woot:

    Here's a couple of pics from last winter's big February storm:
    This shot is from in the AM after it had snowed all night, before the plow truck went up the hill (it was a Sunday, so they didn't actually plow through until around 3PM)
    [IMG]

    And here's plowing out from the garage. It actually got deeper as I got away from the garage; the way the wind was blowing kept it relatively shallow. Over by the house it was drifted in about 3 feet deep.

    Can't wait for more!! (as long as the big storms come after hunting season)

    Yeah, it's a handy little rig, that's for sure. Just the right size for the 3 acres we own. I had a 1952 Case VAC with an 8-foot loader on it before I got the Kubota. That thing was a beast; I could plow the driveway in two sweeps no matter how much snow we got, and stack snowbanks 12 feet high, but it was too big to do anything else around the property. The Kubota takes longer to plow the drive, but it makes a LOT of other chores take a lot less time.

    Yeah, it sure beats the hell out of shoveling! I have a decent sized driveway, and my back hates me after a good snow. One of these days I will break down and get a snowblower.

    I was up in here in Rapid City when we got that snow October 4th. We got around 31 inches with wind gusts of around 70 mph and I didn't make it all the way home so I slept in my truck. I am looking for all terrain tires now.

    You still have the stock Rugged Trails? If so, yeah, no good in snow. I like my Nittos so far in the snow.

    No I bought my truck used and it had yokahama geolanders hts. They are fine for dry summer driving but are slick on wet pavement and in snow. I just put on some goodyear wrangler authority's today. I might look for some cheap wheels and run the yokahamas during summer months.
