I have been to the bridge, but didn't do much more exploring out there.

The road I took to the bridge was a very well maintained logging road. Not much to see other than trees, and some large clear cuts.

The view from the bridge is VERY cool. If you haven't been, I would recommend it. Park on an end, walk out to the center, and look over the edge.

I will update you guys later, hopefully by tomorrow night. If Sunday is better for you mike I will try and swing it.

The wheeling is pretty easy, we just ran into a ton of iced over snow last time. I am thinking we do some shooting and maybe try to wander our way to spider lake. Ill probably bring an AR, 870, and an M&P with me.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
High steel was fun, and I bet there's no snow so Spider Lake or Browns Camp could be passable.

Make sure to hit up that little side trail going up the main road. That was pretty much the only "technical" spot we found, other than the snow.

Saturday I'm in a dirtbike class, trying to teach this old dog some new tricks.

I'll see what I want to do about Sunday, I've been running pretty hard and it might just be a day at home to recover. Maybe I can be convinced, I'll try not to be a downer :p

Ben, are you talking about the road that goes on the east side of Lake West? If so, you aren't supposed to be on it according to the MVUM :(

That's my Halloween costume for sure. Didn't I get that name because I couldn't navigate worth a shit

Its on the west side of fs-23 right before the big Y. Just a little offshoot/bypass. Didn't see any signs and it was well broken in - saw some other rigs on it too.

Not 100% on the location, but it was near here:
    http://goo.gl/maps/oLouJ

    Need to check the MVUM.

MVUM doesn't cover that area, that road skirts right below the map.
Also, the MVUM and google disagree about road names for just about everything north of Haven Lake and west of NF23, it's really bizarre.

Slight possibility I can join for this one. I have to be in Portland helping renovate a condo this weekend. I'm leaving sometime Sunday. Depending on how much work remains, I might be able to leave early on Sunday and meet up. I'll take my 887, a pistol and my AR with me in case I can make it.
