The lift with the stock wheels and tires on. I'm waiting on my new wheels to come or I'd post an after pic up.

I have not noticed that much of a difference. It is alittle bit stiffer, but that is to be expected. I have no plans of doing any real intense off roading so it serves its purpose perfectly.

Most people will hate on the lift, but all is well on my truck

x2. Most people who hate on spacer lifts are just ignorant and trying to make themselves feel better about spending 1000+ on a suspension setup.

The lift is a good lift for what it is, blocks aren't the best for a lift however I've been dealing with them on lift kits and lowering kits for about 13 years now with absolutely no issues. Now if you're going to go hardcore wheeling then I'd look into replacing the block with a new set of leafs. I plan on getting a set of leafs eventually.

This site is very biased towards full fledged suspension kits...maybe a little too much so.

Not the best thing to say on this site with so many people NOT running spacers. I myself don't hate on spacer lifts, hell i used to have em on my old 2002 reg. cab. I've gotten more into offroad in the past few years, and you will definitely see a benefit to using coilovers and better leaf packs. I don't think i'm trying to make myself feel better, i just like to use my truck for it's intended purposes and don't want to feel unsafe using blocks and spacers. If it was all for street driving, then spacers would work fine.

There is no spacer in the 3" Procomp kit, new struts and springs up front with extended shocks and a 1.5" block in the rear. How'd this convo get onto spacers?

Pro Comp makes a popular affordable 3 inch spacer lift with blocks/AAl in the back

Pro Comp 3" Coil Lift with Wheeler's .5" and .25" Lift Enhancers ARB Bull Bar, XRC 8 Dick Cepek DC-1 17x9 BFG AT KO LT285/70R17E Flowmaster Super 44 Undercover Tonneau
I had a Ready Lift 3" SST spacer and block kit and ran 265/70R17s. I then bought the Pro Comp 3" lift coils, Pro Comp 6000 Series Front Struts (I would go with Pro Runners or Bilsteins for adj purposes if I were to do it again), Wheelers 1/2" lift enhancer for the driver's front (for extra lift and to rid my truck of the Taco Lean), Wheeler's 1/4" Wheel spacer for the passenger front. I kept the Ready Lift 1.5" block in the rear and still have stock shocks back there. I would definitely upgrade to something - these OEM bilsteins top out over speed bumps and it bangs really bad.

As a side note, if you want to get rid of the Taco Lean, the Pro Comp lift comes with a spacer for the Drivers' side to even it out. I honestly don't think it's enough of a spacer, but I didn't install it. I just went straight for the 1/2 and 1/4 inch wheel spacer to compensate for the ARB bumper weight. Also, I have 0 Zero, notta, nich, nothing, no rubbing whatsoever with 285/70R17s. I did rub before the Pro Comp upgrade, but after that, not a bit.

Also, you may want to check out my build thread. It has some more detailed info in it.

Didn't mean to whore out my truck..... lol

Oh and as for the ride, it is night and day between this and a spacer. I believe I spent around $50 buying the lift enhancers from Wheelers' and then $250 or so for the coils and 6000 series struts compared to $360 for the Ready Lift SST and another $350 for install. I had just sold my toolbox and used the cash. It's honestly cheaper if you piece together a kit you will want than to buy their kit. I would suggest going their store if you live near one. They kept it in stock and I drove home with it in the bed that day. A friend helped me install it - took about 4 hours to do everything... Definitely will need an alignment afterwards lol.
