Figuring shit out on other people's projects is a pain. My buddy bought a 94 SAS pickup this summer. There's like 4 switches in it and we have no idea what they do(or did). The front shackles and in the body mount so it doesn't flex all that well.

 

On the flip side, I can tell you everything about my truck, every little scratch, the weight cap of my leafs, the #coils I have on, valving, size................

why there's one single stain on my cab roof, how many fucking aggravating seat-belt-recoil nicks in my tint there are...

i wouldnt buy there shop truck. that truck must've been a test truck which means it was beat to shits for R&D

It can be a great move though for those who want to save time and money. That's the route we went with my dads truck. We had our built runner that we had to sell and were without a crawler for a while. Decided it would take too long and too much money to get back to the point where we were before. So we bought his already built (and of course it was built really clean so don't have to worry about weird stuff*). There's a few things we had to change up/upgrade but other than that not much work. We're still doing mods on it. I think he only paid 8k (or maybe 6k) for it too which is about what a stock Taco would go for.

*although...for some reason he put the turn signals into the fenders...but they don't shine through the fenders or work? haha Still haven't figured that out yet.
