I think they would look good black. The only reason I bought new wheels was because I lifted my truck and needed the 4" backspace cause I kept my stock uca's.

Good looking truck dude! Same setup I have on the rear plus Toytec coil overs on the front. My truck rides so much better and looks 100% better.

I used the Rustoleum in the spray can. I prefer the finer texture for the grille/bumper. I have the more rubberized for the bed rails to keep my dog from scratching the paint when he's in the back.

'04' Bought new. I love the grille, and was happy to have not waited a year. I don't dislike the second gens, just glad I got the last of the first gens.

Thanks, 265/75R16's, I wanted a more aggressive tire than the BFG AT and wanted to try and fill the wheel well a little more with the lift. I really, really wanted 285's and will one day but just couldn't afford new rims on top.

Either way I have been very impressed with the MT/R's on the road and especially offroad. I was a little worried about them in sand because I spend a lot of time down on the NC beaches fishing but I let them down below 20lbs and they did great.

I agree they look good painted especially. You don't see those much on Tacoma's. My brother has a 4 runner and his are painted like those and my dad liked the style so much he got a set off CL and put them on his 04 Tacoma. He doesn't dig the whole painting thing but they do look good!

    3inch toytec coils 5100's, aal(soon to be replaced), 33/12.5 km2s, + a money hole...
You don't want to run spacers up front to fit 285s?
I would get some spidertrax so you can keep those wheels , they look perfect with the color of the Tacoma
