Same guy has proposed the same thing every 2 years since he was elected.

 

It gets proposed every couple of years, regardless of who is in office, but never goes anywhere. There is nowhere enough support for anything to happen now.

I am going to send him a PM. Ive dealt with him in the past on a few things. He is a pretty good guy to deal with.

Hey guys, I haven't been on in a while, does anyone know of someone looking for sliders? I want to sell mine, I never installed them.

 

Not sure, Ive got to pick up some parts first. Why, any experience swapping the bushings?

This weekend I need to do normal maintenance, oil & filter, diff fluid change, rotate tires and if I have time, LR UCA's

 

I have change my spring packs and would be willing to lend a hand depending on when you do it . My new pack I just greased them and used the vise. I bet we could get them in with a c-clamp. The hardest part is getting the out but even that shouldn't be to bad

Up to you on the place, if you're up for Mexican, we can go to the same place. What time does that put you here, close to noon?

If you can't press the old bushings out, a little heat can be helpful. If they're anything like the LCA bushings, we burned the rubber out then cut the metal outer ring and folded it in on itself to remove it (not sure if the spring bushings even have an outer metal ring).

 

I will be there by 1130 and mexican is fine. They shouldnt be as bad but the important word there is shouldn't

I am hoping its just a rubber bushing and not metal sleeve, but I guess I can find out.
