Is anyone looking to buy sliders? I'm looking to sell my B.A.M.F. sliders. they were never installed. I don't have pics right now but I will get some.
They are bolt on sliders, with the 20 degree angle, no kick out, and will fit on an AC or DCSB. They were not powder coated. They are being stored near Worcester, MA, but I am living Near Springfield, so i can bring them to Western MA or CT area as well. One has a coat of primer the other is bare with some surface rust. I will clean off the rust.

I'd love to try, but doubt my wife would be on board. She loves the steps and probably doesn't want to spend the money right now. Pics/Options/PowderCoat?

Glad you guys are so excited by my junk. Hoping to get closer to asking price. I'll let you know if that doesn't happen.

Tell her these are basically functional steps and the money you'd get by selling off your steps would closely offset the cost of the sliders :D

Got pics? I may be interested...

Do the bolt-ons require drilling holes, or using existing ones?

Uses three holes on the side of the frame and you have to drill 3 holes in the bottom of the frame if you want them to support the weight of the truck

Maybe I could have them welded on, and angled down like Rob's so I can also use them as steps? Since they're bolt on, I guess it gives the opportunity of a test fit.

Ya they dont work great as steps because they are pretty high. The 20* angle is built into the sliders. Im sure its possible to angle them down but you would have to use a beveled shim or something. There is a couple pictures in my build, i have the exact same sliders.

If shims don't compromise their strength, I could do that. Angling them down should have them stick out slightly more too.

I wouldn't put shims in unless they're welded in place and the sliders were welded to the shims. You'd need to shim the sides and the bottom to make them work.

If you've got the DCSB black OEM steps, you can sell them to me and use the money toward his sliders. Win for everyone!

Thats exactly what i was thinking, but it would probably be cheaper to just have sliders made with the angle he wants, unless he has the time and tools to do it himself.

Unfortunately, I don't have much for tools. Basic sockets sets and a couple powertools.

I still haven't drilled my frame to put the bottom bolts in. They're functional as steps the way they are, just haven't had the time to drill my frame. They shouldn't be really abused as sliders without the bottom bolts but they'll still work for minor stuff.

I'll get them drilled, probably won't be until Spring though. Sliders are hopefully coming off this weekend to get re-sprayed. The Rustoleum shit didn't hold up worth a damn! My cross pieces are down to bare, rusty metal already!
